Found a bug i think:

You can't continue after you write your middle name or click on the name Cora (the second choice options in the game). You just see the picture and hear music but the text is gone (looks like when you click the hide text option)

It worked thanks!

Downloading doesn't work...

YBF got popular and others wanted to ride that "Yandere Boy is insane and loves you game" stuff.

A start screen looking similar is also a bit of a funny thing to use as a way to compare it because trust me no one cares and you can also have the same start screen because you bought it from someone. If you played a lot of visual novels you will see similarities because again you can buy that from someone. And no one would play it more or less if a start screen looks similar lol

Again you don't really know much yandere content just go to the tag yandere. YBF is popular but they didn't create that trope lol there were many before that and during that time lol.

No idea is original nowadays and again if you actually play quite  a few it's the same pattern.

Critic is one thing but again "I also think you got downvoted because you called it a ripoff and clout chasing and that can come off as rude regardless if you didn't meant it that way or said it "feels" doesn't change the fact that you called it that way."

Like you said your review was kinda lazy and accusatory.

Again just an observation intent doesn't equal output.

You don't need to justify whatever to me or get defensive i just gave you a reason why some people disliked you.

Anyways have a good one won't continue the convo further

No worries

"There isn't really an age limit in the demo, but maybe 11+?"

Just wanted to tell you that itch.io is for people 13+ that's the rule

Also just wanted to say if it becomes more disturbing and more mature then you should stick to age restriction the whole game will have because it doesn't make sense to advertise for younger audiences if they are actually not allowed to play the game. It can lead to much more younger people playing the whole game which wasn't intended to.

What other devs do when their demo is less mature is just pointing that out but still sticking to the age restriction.

A book for example rated for 16+ won't be less 16+ if not all chapters are as mature it's just the overall story and the fact that if there are mature themes younger people should not read it.

No hate just wanted to tell you that

If you are on itch.io you will have in your library a list of "things you own" go look for that game there and click there the download button and you will see the new files

You also need to delete older versions and download the new game

Lol that's a toxic kid complaining they have to pay for a service.

Just report not worth arguing one day they hopefully realize that stuff costs money and creating a game costs a lot of time and effort.

Drawing, coding writing etc.

A lot of yandere or stalking games are similar on basis especially if you just played a few or one.

I also think you got downvoted because you called it a ripoff and clout chasing and that can come off as rude regardless if you didn't meant it that way or said it "feels" doesn't change the fact that you called it that way.

I also know about both of those games (note on everyone: Inform yourself about the ybf dev) and i definitely don't see much correlation to call it that tbh. And i think a lot of fans in that genre do so too or else people would've mentioned it here more in the comments that they got the vibe from that game. Not saying that that would be something bad.

People also got in "That's not my neighbor", "Paper's please" vibes. And there is most likely inspiration taken game mechanic wise, which is not a bad thing either. But they still are different from each other and already have different premises etc. But people also there would be annoyed by people calling it ripoff without recognizing in what different direction both go style wise, story wise etc.

Point is it can come off as accusatory than review (saying what exactly you didn't prefer)

No hate just an observation.

KK thanks :D

How many endings will there be?

Just a quick note before i play that game

I don't know why you don't post the trigger warning right here on this page or on a "devlog" especially since it says this game is for 18+ in that Trigger warning no hate tho obviously but i just think it's important to elaborate on all that without folks having to download the game especially if it's rated more mature ^^

Again no harm meant i will make a comment about the game itself once i played it i just mentioned it because it helps people who might find it triggering and/or minors to stay away from this game better.

I mean most gen z are already adults just 6 more years and every gen z person will be 18+ in the end of 2030
But obviously you most likely are more around younger communities if you are younger so it's both from a different perspective but the slangs and vtuber stuff is not that uncommon at all in adults you probably notice it more once you are older.

Again not saying it's not reaching a younger audience but millennials are not some ancient folks who don't enjoy slangs or watch certain vtubers lol.

I was also again talking about her community not this specific game's audience

Also you can't deny that the jokes (rizz, getting bitches, etc.) are jokes speifically used by Gen Z and are new trends, this game feels like its trying to be hip with the kids and Vtubers as a concept are very popular among teenagers as well.

They can be but that would not be the reason really why i would assume that she is trying to be hip with the kids lol that's a bit of a reach older Gen Z or people that are millennials are into that too you probably are more around to those in your age range but it's really common and Vtuber are not that new of a concept really same with that slang lol. But again i won't deny that teenagers aren't here in the comments but it's mostly from youtube videos of people with a younger audience

Again agree on the other points but to me there a quite a lot of adult in her community. The comments here are not a reflection of that more so people who follow her on social media.

I understand its a free product but encouraging your *mostly* underage fanbase to make alts to review your game so they can save their favorite fictional character honestly feels like a sick joke, espically since this can result in their account being perma banned.

Agree with you at every other point but i don't think her fanbase is mostly underage especially based on the other games that are more for adults. Sure some children might be there or ignore the warnings and age restrictions but you kinda portray it as if she knows the age of her viewers and is using that in her advantage.

Again i agree with you on the other point but the audience is not something she can control especially on the itch.io page and also when Youtubers with a large minor audience (or just those who don't age restrict) play her games that may be not nsfw enough to get age restricted on Youtube but it's still for an actual older audience.

So excited :D

Played the first chapter and am excited to see where it goes
Have played Aloners and really loved the writing and the interactiveness there (and Trash duh) and it also seems to be pretty interactive :D

Because they have no life

Because they found a way to have "early access" from the code or something. It's not finished and mostly from what i seen on youtube the aesthetic changed which is definitely not the end product of that mode.
Above the download button are all the posts the developer makes including updates. If you follow the dev on itch.io you will also get a message if they posts something.

It's in most of the cases that way when you buy a game in a different platform

It's not updated

Seems interesting but based on the trigger warning maybe mention that this game is 18+ (which i assume is) if it is a tag related to that would also make sense

Just suggestions tho ^^

Semi spoiler

So started playing and noticed that even when i pick the options that Louhi wants and still crosses our boundaries that we act pretty cool which doesn't make sense at all.
Told him till the time where he wants to sleep in the bed no (he still forced us mind you that was after the bathing scene where at that point all alarm bells should be ringing) and we literally said that we are comfortable around him and even questioned if we love him???

No hate but i think the MC is really delusional to a point where it doesn't make any sense anymore. Like i know it will change the endings but it would make sense to already show some signs in which direction we are going because if some stranger crosses that many times your boundary you would at least feel uncomfortable (it just seem to me that the scenes so far could be one on one be used in the route were we complied which again doesn't make sense. And i know about the anesthesia but even that wouldn't make you that delusional especially since the MC does recognize what he is doing is controlling and invasive and patronizing )

Again no hate if that was your intention then so it is just wanted to share another perspective ^^

Go to your library on the right corner and there are your purchased items. From there you can download it as much as you want without paying

I loved how unique Sol is from the usual yanderes.
He shows much more clinginess but not in a way MC noticed and people irl would kind of ignore it/brush it off.
It's kinda funny doing what he doesn't like and he stares up at you with a surprised pikachu face lol.

When you bought it it should be listed in the list of items you bought (my library)
You can download it from there!

Lol had to comment twice on an 8 months old comment, you sure don't care

That looks interesting :D
Will check it out later

Well you have to wait it will be back in like two weeks

Taking a concept of a game and creating something different with it is not quite the same as stealing lol.
I don't think you know what genres mean because a lot of content be it gaming movies or series have sometimes the same concept but they go differently in direction and in story and sometimes other things too.

Nothing nowadays is something that didn't exist (a bit differently) before

You are naive if you think Paper's please is a completely unique concept that didn't exist in one way or another before.

Also not fully agreeing with the OP because they seem really edgy but what you said is not accurate.

If anything else is alright then they are innocent

Go to the settings you have to do it there. What the developer said before. And you have to do that after getting the "warning"
Also did you download the demo before to check if it works there?

You should find it if you scroll down to security and privacy or click the download link again and then ok and then go there

Lol the audacity. A lot of big youtuber have played that game so they don't even need the exposure in the first place

If your mouse curser is  not this ace symbol anymore that means you've put it off screen. You just have to do it again till it goes back to the ace suit

Then don't buy it if it's not worth for you???
