Hey, thanks for reaching out.

- The engineers starting PHY is detailed on the play sheet at the bottom (12)

- If you get hurt, any subsequent tests are done with the new PHY score...  So the more injured you are the harder it is to hit... Keep some bandages handy 😹

Hope this makes sense and feel free to tweak any rules to suit yourself... Ultimately the goal is for you to enjoy.

Thanks again for your message

Hey everyone,

This year, I’m making one micro-TTRPG a month to push myself, experiment with mechanics, and (hopefully) get better at designing games. February’s game is GOOSE—a Lasers & Feelings hack where you play as elite commando geese on a mission to wreak havoc at the village fête.

I wanted to make something completely different from January’s horror game—something fast, ridiculous, and built for maximum chaos. GOOSE takes the structure of a heist movie, throws in some random tables, and replaces your highly trained professionals with loud, aggressive birds who fear nothing.

Every game is different. Maybe the fête has banned geese outright, maybe a busload of confused tourists arrives mid-mission, or maybe this year’s mascot is a man in a badger suit who refuses to break character. Whatever happens, things will spiral out of control.

This is 2/12 of my challenge, and I’ve already learned a ton from doing this. No idea what March’s game will be yet—maybe something pulpy, maybe something solo, maybe something I come up with in a panic on the 28th.

If you check out GOOSE, I’d love to hear how your team’s mission went—what did you steal, who did you enrage, and how badly did it all fall apart?

Thanks for reading, and remember: no plan survives first contact with a broom.

I've just made a hack where players play as a squad of highly trained, elite Goose commandos (and definitely not just a gang of unruly birds attacking a village fête): https://aaronbest.itch.io/goose

Amazing, thanks for posting :)

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback... Answers to your questions:

1) no nothing happens in sector 1, so just scan the sectors around in the first turn

2) I would do the space port first.

3) allocate it immediately :)

Hope this helps... Thanks again for reaching out :)

Amazing! Can't wait to watch this... Really glad you enjoyed :)

Amazing, thanks for your feedback and I'm really glad you enjoyed... Great username too btw. Thanks again! 😊

Thank you for the feedback! would love to hear the entries (although my German is a little rusty) Thanks again and glad you enjoyed! :)

No problem, hope you enjoy :)

Hello! hope you're well :)

1) Automatically gained and active whilst you're in the room

2) Indefinitely

3) The reward is free when you loot a body, the prices are only relevant when you purchase an item from a merchant.

Hope this helps & thanks for playing.

Shall we say that it's a better quality bandage to pretend that I didn't make a mistake 😂 I will fix in next update... Hope you enjoyed and thank you for flagging!

Hey, hope you're well,

The "compatible with" tag is more of a catch all to designate something as third party, however it shouldn't be too difficult to include other things from Pirate Borg.

Hope you enjoy Pulp Dreadful.

Thanks

Aaron

Thank you 🙏 As you can imagine, creating something this monumental took a dedicated team of the finest developers and artists, each pouring their heart and soul into it... We truly live and breathe this game

You played bravely, and your sacrifice will be remembered - Rest in pixels, hero.

Just a quick update: This has now been resolved. A new version of the full-colour singles is available, along with both full-colour and printer-friendly booklet versions... sorry for the delay :)

This has now been fixed in the new version... Thank you again for flagging :)

Hey, apologies for the late response... I'm aware of a couple of weird issues, I'm going to do a new, printer friendly version shortly, sorry for the inconvenience :)

It is! Thank you for pointing this out, I'll get it amended in the next version.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you so much :)

😂 should be fixed now 😂

Sure, feel free to reach out to me aaron.l.best(at)gmail.com :)
