I'm glad I could make you feel that way !! We can all make games it just takes some persistance :D

Thank you !!

Totally agreed ! Always cool to see how use the theme :D

It took me about 6 game jams of not completing in time to finally get to the point where I submitted one , and even then it was really rough.. , It then only took me another 2 failures to complete another one (this game jam) . It'll be different for everyone, but as long as you can take a little something learnt from each game jam then even if you don't submit , you've still succeeded c:

Thank for playing and for your in depth notes !! Gave me so much to think about , and also found so many things I thought I fixed hahaha, Glad you could get some enjoyment out of my slightly broken mess of a first game xD haha , I enjoyed reading your notes !

Thanks for playing and for your feedback! I completely agree with you regarding the sound and music.

Game resets whenever I walk through the first gate, not sure If I'm supposed to pick something up or do something before hand, but the Hint says to just open the gate so I think I'm doing it right. However what I have seen of the game look really pretty !

Great continuous game !! I especially enjoyed the shooting of the zombies felt very smooth. Loved the art and music ! Unfortunately, I couldn't get the bury with left click to work even when spamming the button next to a zombie coming out of a grave, also they seem to appear from the grave a bit too fast, but that's just my opinion :D Overall a great game !

I'm in the same situation as you, being a student studing game design. I think this would be a great jam for you to begin with (it's also going to be my first full jam), mostly down to the fact the jam is 30 days long giving you plenty of time to make a simple game, I would recommend using a game engine you are familiar with and only aim to try 1-2 new things. The combination of creating a simple game, using familiar tools and not attempting too much outside your comfort zone should give you a decent chance of completing your project. And even if you don't complete it you'll still learn alot :D
