Okay thanks for the clarification. I was thinking of going for a horror vibe with my game.

Do you just mean no sexual content or nudity, or is that a blanket ban on any kind of graphic violence?

I had this very ambitious idea to do 10 really cool games in 10 days but I'm suffering from depression right now and I feel like the best I can do is 5 if I split them apart 2 days. The results won't be eligible for this jam anymore - since they won't be made within a 24-hour period, but I would like to know if I can still mention the jam via a Twitter hashtag and on the eventual project page?

Thanks for the response. I hope to make some amazing little games.

Godot as an engine. Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender or Aseprite for art, depending on the style I want. Sfxr and / or Audacity for sound, again, depending on the style I want. Seems like the most efficient way to do things.

...a pinball game and a pachinko game that recycle code from another? Could I make two games with an overhead perspective and twinstick movement (ala Hotline Miami) so long as they are different enough from one another in genre (ie, one is a straight overhead shooter like Alien Breed, the other a stealth game like Metal Gear?)

While I bring up Hotline Miami, what about content? Keep things PG-13?
