«Is there a point of playing any character which isn't a gunslinger?» At this point, probably not :-/ The hopefully good news is that a updated version is under development, and should come with more actual content.

Thank you for your comment, and sorry for my slow reply (and slow development :,) The demo has very little content, but there is a small quest coded in. You can press - (the minus button) to zoom out on the map, where you can find a location marked with a star. There is a bandit camp, to try to defeat the leader and bring their body to the sheriff for a bounty.

Thank you for your encouraging comment! Regarding movement, you can try to rebind the keys to WASD by setting Up button to "W" and Down button to "S". I'm afraid mouse support is very experimental in the current release, but it's on the way!

Development is currently a bit slow but active. I think there will be a release early 2023, with updated interface as well as other improvements and additions :)

Glad to see this classic staying available. Is it still possible to get the guidebook and stuff (roguelikefiction link is dead)?

Hi, thanks for the reply. That makes sense. I think what may have confused me, is that if I enter an invalid sum as the suggested donation, I get a popup saying: "suggested price — expected price then price between $1.00 and $10,000.00, or $0.00, or empty", which … hum, is kind of unclear ;) It somehow made me think $0.00 as the suggested donation was actually a thing.

Greetings, all! I made an itch.io page for my project last week, and have been learning about how everything works. Now I just stumbled across something that I wonder if may be a bug or something else. I set pricing to "$0 or donate", and I tried setting the suggested donation at $0. However, when I go to click my own download button to test everything, the suggested price of 2$ pops up. There's no issue if I set the suggested price at some other sum, so my question is whether it's actually impossible to suggest a donation of zero, or if this is something I should be able to do (if so, how)?
