I died more times because of my own hubris than because of the actual enemies. But they also died once when they all flied directly into the same asteroid... so I don't feel so bad about myself anymore XD.
Cool idea! My main issue was that I wasn't 100% sure as to how I was supposed to place my defenses, so I ended up creating a mess XD. I'd say that a first, easy wave to give the player a sense of what's to come, would give a better idea of how to use resources for when the real invasion start. Then again, tower defense like games aren't my thing, so probably I'm just dumb XD
Really good game!! It's a shame that it could not be finished as you wanted but even the few levels you were able to make are entertaining and convey a really interesting story. Even the simplistic art style works great with the concept and the music does really sell the unnerving nature of the game play. All in all, a great concept!

5 seconds into the game. I blew myself up after not paying attention to the tutorial. I left behind a loving wife and a beautiful child. Years have passed. My child is fully grown and has taken on the family business. Dies tragically after backing into a mine when trying to go home. The curse continues.
