Hum... maybe!

You don't need to stop/pause the game because its turn-based. Ive implemented a "ping" feature to ping the server every 5 minutes to prevent loosing the session.  I will check if this is working.

Btw a new patch is coming in few weeks and I will add a button to refresh the captcha.

Oh, thats an http connection error. I will fix this on new path by adding a button to refres the captcha. So sorry you didnt scored your dungeon. If you want I can add your win manually to the database. I need your user name for that.

For the problem number 1... do you have any gamepad connected t your computer? If so, can you disconnect and try to run the game again'

The game uses descending AC, the less, the better. But I decided to invert that when showing on the GUI. I think it confuses and maybe I will change that to use a better system.

Exactly! The game uses this dice notation. If you see something like 2d8+2, that means you will deal 4 to 18 damage per roll/attack. Next update will add some descriptions and will show more info about hit probability and attacks.

The message: your nose is tingling means you need to "search" :)

Check for hidden/secret walls. Use the "s" command near every wall.

Can you tell me when you got the database red error? Maybe when you load a new level? Or maybe qhen you make an action (like writting a msg?). This info will help me to hunt the bug.

When you try to make an action during confusion, there is an small chance your confusion ends. Depens on your level and dungeon level. Confusion will get an small rework next patch btw.

I like Poly working over items :P I will do that

The message is sent and stored into the database after you write one. When you load a new dungeon level, the game ask for all messages, bones, user-items to the server. I will look into those desyncs

I will investigate this and publish an update to fix this asap. Database error means your client was unable to query the database, maybe because a connectivity issue, etc. Not showing the captcha was unfair. I need to add a button to generate a new one to prevent this softlock. Sorry

I am not in front of my computer until next week. If the dungeon is now completed I will generate a new one and add your name as a winner (write here your ingame name)

@Itchweazle since you are playing a lot and giving feedback, maybe you wanna know this: Go north to play offline, then right-click with your mouse over your nickname. This is the debug menu, where you can spawn items to test mechanics. Play with the new items, interact with them, try builds, clone stuff, etc :)

Yeah! Cloning staff is super powerful... imagine having two of them, you will be able to duplicate items like potions or scrolls. infinitelly

I have plans for a (future) big update; adding more dungeon layouts like caves and optional (hardcore) areas like a maze (with a minotaur and a treasure). But I need a lot of time to implement that. Red messages will be super usefull to complete the maze fast.

I will think about your trap idea btw :)

Next update is to fix some security bugs. Then I will focus on the future big update with more content.

1) True that. In last update I added collision from staff projectiles because the staff of cloning. So you can duplicate items. Looks like you found a bug with red messages. I will fix this asap! When I test the update, I play offline with no messages, thats why I didnt noticed this. My bad haha.

2) True. And I like your solution where the spell will show any item on the floor. Sounds consistent to me :)

3) Yeah. Enchament can add charges to your staff or pendants. The reason it adds only 1 charge is to prevent and exploit where a player can have unlimited cloning charges with that staff + enchantment scroll. I will try to find a better solution to this, maybe blocking the option to clone the enchantment scroll with the cloning staff  ¿?

Yep! true that. 

On next updates I will let the player witch item to drop, but for now you can use this method if you wanna populate the dungeon with useful items :P

Thanks for reporting this. I will check how restore str potion works and interacts with that rin. A new patch will be release when this and the bug below is solved.

This sounds like a bug while determining flying projectiles. I will work to solve this bug next patch!

haha, nice! Carnivorous Plants, like Treants, are those type of monster you can decide to kill them since they have a hight % item drop chance. But sometimes its risky!


I had a run where I was in an open space, with a lake, full of sleeping Treants. Moved one tile and triggered a firetrap. The fire spreds fast, waking up all the Treants and they managed to kill me in 2 turns. lol

So, the scenario is, you have a -1 ring of damage, use an enchantment scroll without unequipping the ring, and the bad effect is still there? Yeah, that is a bug I will fix next patch. Thanks for reporting!

Un equipping and equipping the ring again will solve the problem, but I will work to solve this bug to avoid that

Staffs are designed to be used over monsters/items/terrain, not yourself. You have 3 different items to apply magic status to yourself: potions, scrolls and pendants. This is a design decision :)

Maybe I will add a warning if you target yourself to avoid waste a charge.

Polymorph is a gambling staff, sometimes you will get a weak monsters. My recommendation here is to use poly only over overpowered monsters, so you transform them into a weak monsters.

Graveyard needs a rework. There are a lot of graveyars from players that only played 1 time, wasting space. I will make graveward bigger and add a condition of having at least 5 deaths to have your own tombstone. Remember you can press Ctrl+direction to autorun.

Can you describe the steps to reproduce this bug?

There is no way to read that info BUT next version will have a "death" screen where you can read info about the run, your inventory and some statistics.

I think you drank a chaos potion. It has a different effect depending on what you do with it: drink it, throw it at a monster or throw it against a wall.

Ok. So thats the issue. Your PC can't access my webserver for some reason. Maybe your ISP is blocking the access. Try using another internet connection, maybe you can use your 4G/5G from your smartphone to test it (or just try to access the website I mentioned from your smartphone).

Looks like a problem from your end. I have no tools to help you :(

It is possible, but the game is balanced when you have coop elements like messages warnings for traps and shared items/weapons. I think a full singleplayer mode will be unbalanced and impossible to reach depth 25.

There is an offline dungeon at north. Try this game mode and share here how far can you get by playing alone.

I can try to publish am offline version for next patch :)
