Theme and art was really good, wish there were more of a story. Also a visible hitbox would be nice for the drink.

I apologize, I just saw the rule, okay.

So it seems like everything is a node except prefabs and scenes?

I'm thinking either Unreal or Godot, depending on the theme. Might go Unreal to get some practice with it

Hi, ex-Untiy developer here! I'm not an expert programmer and was mostly relying on premade frameworks in Unity before the Big Exodus. I was wondering if we were allowed to use purchased/downloaded assets in the jam and if so, what kind?

I was looking for visual novels made with RPG maker to get inspiration for the one I wanted to make and I ran across this one. So, when the Enigma game started I was thinking this would be a regular jumpscare fest, and there was some kind of timer and I'd die if I didn't solve the puzzles fast enough. After the first death I realized that wasn't the case, but man the tension was still there.

And that ending! I'm not crying, you're crying!

My one complaint was that to find the articles in the second part you had to click on some very specific and seemingly random spots.  That just seemed very obtuse. But other then that, great job!

So, I read the definitions for a rhythm game on the jam page, and I'm curious about something.

Mother 3 is technically an RPG, but there's a gameplay mechanic where if you can hit a certain button to the beat of the song playing, you score extra attacks on the enemy. There's even an item that makes the beat more prominent to help with this.

Would this be enough to classify Mother 3 as a rhythm game, or would it not count since technically you can probably beat the game without doing this?

So, I'm just curious. For those who have played, do you think the "one person at a time" structure is good, or something I should change if I expand on this?

Thank you! I actually fixed the bug if you're willing to give it another go, but if not I totally understand.

I fixed the bug! It should be playable now

i like the idea of the duels being decided by card games, though I always seemed to win even though I didn't know the instructions. I like how you incorperated the theme.

I forgot to say in my submission, but I made the music before the jam. Sorry!

Never mind, it isn't. It should be fixed now.

Very cool game. I kinda wish I knew the goal of the game because I was wandering around for a while trying to figure out where I was supposed to go. Other then that I liked it! I liked that you could destroy the enemy missiles coming your way.

I really liked the models you used for the overworld. And the games felt different from one another even though they used the same controls. The kid's voice clip was kind of high pitched, but it fit with the aesthetic well. The UI and dialogue boxes were very creative looking.

Ack! I must've forgotten to link the upstairs scene! Thanks for the compliments. I suppose its too late to upload a fixed version.
