Thanks so much for the kind comment. I'm glad you had fun with the choices I placed since that's the main goal I had making this game. For now I'm trying to make the demo more presentable (finishing all the art assets) but after that I'll start adding more content and introduce the rest of the main characters so I hope you look forward to that!

Hello! Sorry for the very late reply but I am glad to know you enjoyed the demo. I'm still in the process of creating the game as I've had to work on the lore far more than I originally intended but I hope you enjoy the longer version when it finally comes out.

Thanks for playing my game and for the kind comment!

Thank you for playing my game and for the kind word! I do plan on developing this game even further both with more content as well as improving the artwork.

It was confusing at first but its a cute story, good job!

Really cool and addictive game for such simple mechanics. Didn't win but will be coming back eventually to see how the game ends.

Everything about this game seems bad and cheap at first glance yet I absolutely love it. The sound effects, the mechanic, the timers. Why. Why is this so good?

I raged so hard I put on lofi music to keep me going and finally, I reached the final level... only to die within the first second. This was a great game and the lore was something I didn't expect having not seen the prompt beforehand. On one hand having music that slowly degrades following the levels would've been awesome, but I also might've lost my mind if I heard the same song over and over again for ages. Overall good job!

Certainly an interesting take on the prompt, I ended up buying stuff as I wanted rather than playing the game (thus buying a whole lot more chocolate milk than I needed). Overall it was a neat little game to play during short breaks.

I like the story the game had as well as the mechanic, I'm still confused about how to figure out each of the bzz meanings but I saw you already addressed that in a previous comment so I look forward to how this game develops in the future.

Thanks for playing my game! I'm glad you enjoyed the art I made

Thanks for playing my game! I saw the VOD of you playing my game and you've given me a lot of feedback to think about, I'll be sure to make a longer demo next time.

Thanks for playing my game and the kind words!

Thanks for playing my game! Even before the prompts came out I knew I wanted to make a new world setting/lore for my game, so I used a random number generator to choose a prompt and got this this one. It forced me to think more out of the box which was a great learning experience.

I've never seen such a magnificent story arc in a game before, truly the masterpiece of our time. The attention to detail of the driver still inside the car for the parent-teacher conference is very appreciated, the only feedback I have is we never got to eat the food we had gotten in the beginning which I think would improve this game immensely. Overall a stunning game and I look forward to seeing what else you develop in the future.

Not what I expected but I had a lot of fun playing it. I don't think it quite fits the prompt though as we are literally shooting at monsters in the game. Other then that, great visuals and mechanics.

Thanks for playing my game and the kind comment!

The art is very retro and nostalgic which fits the flip phone protagonist. I also like the gameplay and  wish it was longer with harder levels. If you decide to develop this game further, I look forward to seeing how it turns out

Did not expect that ending but good job, the pixel art looks solid and the atmosphere is definitely there.

Both my customers and bats hate me but I found this game enjoyable. The mechanic is interesting and the content is pretty cool.

Pretty repetitive and game play is a bit bland. The idea was pretty cool though, never thought I'd fight for a pizza kingdom using a pizza slicer.  There are definitely much that could be improved such as more gameplay content, enemy mechanics, and use of space (there's so much space in the village, why not make use of it?) so if you ever decide to take this further, I look forward to seeing how this game develops,

Spent the first couple minutes messing around in the small box before I decided to just throwing to the hitter over and over again. So imagine my surprise when suddenly the box breaks, Japanese battle music show up, and monsters are now invading the field. This game is so chaotic and I absolutely adore it. Its the first game in this jam that has gotten me in laughter and smiles the entire gameplay!

Pretty standard game mechanic but love all the small aspects about it. The art style, the music, the sound effects, the atmosphere, I really enjoyed bumping ever motorcycle I passed by!

I did not expect this game mechanic but it certainly fits the theme. Pretty simplistic considering its more of a simulation but it serves its purpose so good job.

The theme fit surprisingly well and it was a relaxing game. I really like the art style as well as the comments that come up about the rain not ending. However, I would suggest turning the ending screen into a click button rather than a hover as its easy to miss the screen and instantly go back to the game if your mouse was already in the center

Love the game and the mechanics involving Billy turning into a bomb. If you develop this further I would love to see how the full game goes but one thing I suggest would be adding some features to human Billy as right now, the player can play the entire game as a bomb (as it is also faster than human Billy).

Really cool game, love the different endings available and the comedy of it. I appreciate the mechanic that some of the paths leading to death no matter which option you take and having to go back to solve it.

The new zip file download doesn't work, it comes up as an empty error file.

The panic in the prompt was certainly included in this game. The idea is really nice but the replay only works correctly the first time then afterwards when you die, the balloons don't stop coming so eventually, you die over and over again immediately without even moving.

Could benefit from a short tutorial or instructions but overall really good. The atmosphere and setting were solid and the gameplay was nice. Perhaps you could make it more obvious where towers can't be placed (red or green overlay perhaps?) but I enjoyed playing this.

I don't quite understand what this is but the jam did say submit anything so good job I guess

Thank you, I really appreciate it!

That sonic fact was something I did not expect to need until this game. The quiz was really fun and the story was clear but the implementation of the title was pretty short (for the phone aspect at least). If you plan on further developing this, I think it would be hilarious if the player constantly almost dies but gets away with it by taking Death's quiz (thus having different levels) or perhaps Death is the player's parent who has to work but is helping the player do their homework through the phone? These are just some ideas but overall, its a really nice game.

Pretty cool game, really fit the theme. The shapes of the fortress was really cool too but at some point the cube? you need to aim at just falls to the ground so shooting cannons at the bottom of the screen can pass the level pretty easily. Some ways you could perhaps fix this is by making unmovable blocks around the cube or making the cube hover at a certain place so aiming becomes more of a core play.

Art style and setting is really nice but there isn't much in terms of gameplay and the use of the prompt is a bit weak. If you plan on improving it, perhaps you could use the same game mechanic and design but change grandpa to an empty chair trying to move around the house before anyone notices it?

I find the direction you took for this really interesting, love the "cursed" part of the game. Same feedback as other people though, really annoying having to delete the previous words you wrote and the time between each screen is very long. Pretty cool though

The shadows look really cool, love the lighting

Took a while to understand what was going on but it was also hard to play. My mouse constantly got stuck at the side which caused my character to not be able to turn (thus missing the snot ball). I really like the idea though and I think it perfectly fits the prompt given.

Pretty cool game, the aesthetic and atmosphere is really nice and fits your game very well. The power ups and level changes are also cool.

This could develop to be a pretty interesting game, I like the layout and the setting you've placed. There isn't much that can be done at the moment but I look forward to seeing how this game turns out if you choose to develop it further.
