Thanks so much! I felt very silly at every moment of making it, from the paper cutouts to the disco ball. I agree, the pin isn’t great. It’s visible only a very, very tiny bit at the top of the screen, and I think it needs to be more obvious before it, you know, skewers you. And I’ve got to say: That taking damage softlock bug is driving me crazy; I can’t figure out what’s doing it!!! But I’m glad that the few little minutes of it were fun, and maybe I’ll pick it up again one of these days! Thanks so much for checking it out!

Woo-hoo! Thanks. I’m looking all over for an itch.io direct messaging function or something, and can’t find it. So here it is!

It’s VERY not finished, but then, this is a game jam, right? :)

Oh no! I have something to submit, but didn’t get to upload it yesterday. Is it still possible to add it, or am I too late?

Hm. Well that’s frustrating. Now you’ve got me thinking about it again—the best of problems!…

I’m really glad you enjoyed it, though. Actually, I myself thought the art needed some help, so it’s really great to hear you say that you liked it! And yeah, I think I’m going to have trouble resisting the urge to keep fiddling with it until the end of time. XD

Haha! Well thank you! I’ll admit to my share of software development around databases and the like, so it’s not my first coding experience, at least. But I’m really grateful for the praise and feedback! Hope the next one can live up to it. :)

Oh, good old crazy Uncle Signmacher. I should never have expected less. Sad about his wife, though. Seriously, this was awesome. I love the way that the color theme of the game jam was carried out in multiple ways–electric floor, changing roadblocks, strength of weapons against various enemies. Beautifully done.

Wow, I am terrible at this game! Which doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s great. You found a really creative way to build off of the game jam theme of color. And I like the mechanic of the stationary player/gun, too; I think it makes it a great challenge to aim. Really cool result here.

You’ve got a really interesting mechanic for movement, assuming I’m doing it right. I like the way you point the direction with the mouse, but then actually move with your arrow keys. Creative! Your game makes me want to play around a bit with Scratch; I’ve heard good things about it, but it’s fun to actually see it in action. Nice work!

Hey cool! There’s obviously more to do, but I’m really impressed with what you’ve done in just seven days! The best thing about your game is the art for your sprites; if you’ve done them yourself, you should know that they’re very cool. I love the facial expressions that your little polo-clad guy makes when he moves and jumps around. Nice work!

Just for the record, nit-picking leads to improvement, so I’m grateful for it.

Also just for the record: Yes, llamas make everything better.

Thanks, Tahnan! It was fun to put together. No, there isn’t a win condition, and I did feel that the game play was a bit unbalanced. But since I made it for a game jam, and only had seven days, I didn’t have a chance to adjust it much before time ran out. So “Play forever until you run out of money” it was, and it seems like either you run out immediately, or you go on raising llamas into infinity.

Which is to say, you get it completely. But I’m delighted that you found it entertaining, at least for the first few in-game days! For my first try at a published game, I’ll take that as the highest praise. :)

This was even more fun than I’d expected, and I’ve wanted to try to publish a game for years. Thanks for the opportunity, and see you again for another month!

I definitely will! It was even more fun than I’d expected, and I’ve wanted to try to publish a game for years. Thanks for the opportunity, and see you again for another month!
