Putz, vi aqui xD, na pressa esqueci de pôr uma parede invisível desse lado kk

Nothing, it’s a generic GDevelop sample¹ and it was submitted to multiple gamejams (this is visible when accessing the game’s page).

I tried making a game on Carp language with my game framework and enjoyed the process, probably I’ll try again for this jam.

Thanks!

(dev here) Thanks! Although using one enemy was intended, indeed it is too much short, turns out I couldn’t really make much levels in time hehe. I’m both proud of this project, but also a bit frustrated that I couldn’t do more xD

Nice game! It’s so smooth, and the eyes were nice!

Very fun and polished!

Nice classic, very probably that I’ll play it many times.

Loved this game, there was a moment where I felt lost, but in a good way.

Great for exploration!

Very nice game!

Nice graphics!

I felt lost at first, but in the end, it is an interesting gameplay system.

Thanks ^^

Pretty nice!

hehe

Thanks hehe

I’ve been thinking about making a sequel honestly, but I’ll have to plan, especially because I’m already making another game, so I would need to manage the time appropriately.

Thanks ^^

Thanks :D

Thanks ^^

Also, nice color palette too!

Good game, it’s nice to experiment with the particles and see what happens next.

Great Game!

Thanks! ^^

Nice game! In my third try I could get all the berries hehe

Thanks! :D

Thanks! ^^

Thanks for the kind comments ^^

I was thinking on adding a progress and a parallax effect on background, and make an ending to the game, but I never tried to make the release build of the game so I was really very worried that I maybe could not build the game in time haha, so I decided to not implement them and just use the remaining time for building.

Indeed, is very unclear when the player get hit or not, the sound effect is very difficult to hear compared to the music, but I only noticed that days after the release.

I also loved the sprites, Leonardo (the pixel artist) made a really good art in this game.

Hello, I'm one of the developers of this game :D

Unfortunately, we (me and Leonardo, the pixel artist) had to cut several planned features, so the theme usage "Its's not as big as it seems" end up almost invisible.

But after all, I'm happy with the result :D

Enjoy!

obrigado ^^

Obrigado :D
Sim, eu não consegui pôr as animações da princesa a tempo, irei consertar isso entre amanhã e depois de amanhã na versão pós-jam.

Obrigado ^^

Obrigado ^^

Hello, I also downloaded for linux, there are two files and one folder there.

These two files, AShortHike.x86 and AShortHike.x86_64 are executables, however by default they are not "runnable".

If you're using Ubuntu (or OS with GNOME DE I think), right click on these files -> properties -> permissions.

In the end there should be a checkbox about "allow execution of the file as executable" or something like that (like in the gif, however I'm using the portuguese translation of Ubuntu :v)

Check this and double-click (or right-click-> run/execute) in either AShortHike.x86 or AShortHike.x86_64.

AShortHike.x86 it's for 32bit systems and AShortHike.x86_64 for 64bit systems.

However my game it's widhout sound, still trying to figure out why.

bugs fixed :]

Really good game!
