Cute zen game! I see why you needed so much plant pixel art now lol
Just not quite sure what the base plant is. I thought it'd be a place to plant, but it looks like you can plant anywhere and also all other plants render behind it

Fun boat race game! Kinda funny how the game link and concept art are about cats, but the actual game and title are about gators. I honestly love how stupidly big and dumb the gators are, and I'm always inspired by uniquely stylized 3D worlds like these (did you make an SRP?). Minor thing, but you might want to make it clear X for restart is for the console. I was pressing X on my keyboard to no avail hahahah

Thanks for the kind words Alex! :) Glad you liked it!

Hmm, maybe you were almost out of gas (upper right corner). The game only resets when you run out of gas, but the strength of your shot is limited by how much gas you have left. So you can get in these funny situations where you have barely any gas and game over is guaranteed considering your distance to the black hole, but you need to make the last "pathetic shot" to trigger the game reset anyway. That is definitely a user-experience thing which could be improved upon, hahah.

Hmm I don't know too much about texture filters, I'll definitely look into that. Any graphics in particular you felt was inconsistent? As for level 2, I can assure you that making a line like in Level 1 is downright impossible. Think carefully: how do you connect a continuous line without changing the constellation appearance? I've also updated the main page with hints about every level (supplement this hint with the one over there, and I'm sure you can get it :D ). Indeed, the difficulty was something hard to ease into, I had many wild ideas that couldn't be subtly introduced in the space of a roughly 10 minute game. Thanks a lot for playing, and I hope you'll give it a go again! :)

I agree, I also think the difficulty ramp-up to level 5 in particular was quite big, but I couldn't think of a better way to more gently introduce those creative mechanics. Glad you loved the game, and thanks a lot for playing!

Ok, finished the game! Maybe I just suck at FPS, but that HEAL cheat was a lifesaver. It would be nice to place checkpoints when you die bc restarting the level from the very beginning was kinda brutal. Running across the platforms with the speed cheat was loads of fun, although it was technically not necessary bc jumping off the platform towards your destination respawns you at your destination HAHA. Lastly, the floating eye enemies were kind of a pain bc at some point they floated high enough to become unshootable; it would be nice if they only went up to a point where the player can still shoot them. Overall, it was a really enjoyable game with cool aesthetic! Great work!

The up and down movement of the walk got a bit dizzying after a short while, I think it could be less exaggerated. I'm not sure what the two values on the bottom right corner are; they seemed to go up when I picked up enemy drops, so maybe one is points? But what's the other value? It would be nice if that was explained somehow in the beginning of the game. I also hit a dead end after a point and didn't know what to do from there (is that the end of the game, or do you need a cheat code to proceed?). The pixel art style in a 3D environment was really cool tho, and the fighting was quite fun! I'd try it again if I knew how to proceed.

HAHAHA Very cute game. Really impressive for your first original!

One point of improvement to consider is to limit the number of bullets visible in screen/set a cooldown (when you spam bullets, the game begins to get really laggy). Also, the cheat text is really small. I get this is to hide it, but I had a bit of trouble reading it (I just spammed my keyboard to find what letter it was referring to); you can make the font size a bit bigger. Lastly, the game does get redundant after you learn the cheat. Rather than several levels with marginally increasing difficulty, it would have been better to make only the last level unreasonably difficult to force the cheat. I imagine there would be people who won't play until the end bc all succeeding levels gets redundant after learning the cheats.

But overall, really awesome game! It was a blast! (pun intended)

Also, just a random note, but I just sat in my starting position while spam shooting missiles at the general direction of the satellites at the latter half of the game. It's a lot faster XD
