Could your key have burned up in the fire on the way back? I'm not sure if you would have missed that or not

That config file doesn't exist on my machine either, but it still runs. I wonder if it's looking for some shared object that you don't have, or something of that sort?

1. I can give you a hint if you tell me which ones you've found

2. Yeah, I think I'm going to fix that bug in a post-jam update

3. It could be fun to have an end screen that says, "Win?" if that happens, maybe.

Thanks for the feedback!

Fun! I had some issues with how far I had to be to avoid collision, but that's probably just the result of me not being used to this style. Also, I liked the logo splash screen at the beginning.

Very fun, but the bass in the music was hard on my ears (also I'm bad at the game but ignore that part lol).

That was a nice, relaxing story (until the end lol)

Love the concept, was not expecting to be fighting the dragon with my letters lmao

Might suggest having a slightly larger hitbox for picking up items though, it was frustrating sometimes to try to pick them up

I agree, I feel like the way to solve the wall-jumping issue is to make it propel you away from the wall.

I agree with most of your feedback except that your goal in the game is to leave at least one enemy alive.

How many voice lines did you have to record for this?

It's infinite by default. Did you kill all the enemies? That's the only thing that causes the game to end other than pressing the end game button yourself.

I think you can until the submission deadline

Fun game! A couple suggestions, though: first, it'd be nice if it was faster to restart and if there was a button that you could press. Also, I'd suggest not restarting the music at the beginning of each level; that was kinda jarring.

I agree. I was going to give different enemies different movement abilities, but I ran out of time. Our main inspiration for the game was Slay the Spire, so it makes sense that it would remind you of that.

I'd suggest specifying that you can double-jump. I didn't realize you could and so I spent a bunch of time figuring out how to complete levels while hitting spikes fewer than three times.

I agree, it's fun to try to hit it to the rhythm of the music.

Fun game! By the way, pressing R to restart works for me (Firefox, Windows 10)

I may have forgotten to mention that you press 1 and 2 to select the building you want to place.

After the tutorial, every level has a version afterwards where you have to salvage the same solution with missing parts.

Thanks for the feedback, I definitely agree that the level designs could use some work. I hadn't considered limiting the number of tiles that could be placed, but that's a good idea.

Thanks for playing my game! I've definitely learned that the pacing was way too fast.

I really like this game. Because the edges loop around to connect to each other, you end up thinking completely differently to how you normally would in a game like this.

I probably should have specified that you can press enter once the player is moving to reset. Thanks for the feedback, I'll update the description.
