Simple, but effective style - some sound settings would be appreciated, as well as interpolating the player motion (you seem to only update the position on physics frames) Re-thinking the two-cell blockade mechanics would be useful, but otherwise, good job for a first game!

Very tough game, but amazing ambiance, I love the slow music! There’s plenty of places this can be taken after the jam, my only complaint would be having to wait for the ship to rotate in the right direction (^-^ )

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! If you have the time, please tell us what changes to the difficulty you think would benefit the overall experience, I greatly appreciate all feedback! (^-^ )

Lovely visuals, and a fun idea; My only nitpick is probably the fact that one enemy hit is enough to kill you, which IS the point but the limited movement makes it more of a nuisance than usual. Apart from that, stellar entry! Good team effort.

Incredibly creative, and a good use of a simple premise! Lovely minigame, would love to see where it can be taken with more time and ideas; well done!

Nice to see a fellow Godot dev! Shoutout to the ‘scale clear’ animation, the glint is very pretty (^-^ )

Very pretty effects, I initially couldn’t grasp how you’re supposed play until simply accepting that getting hit is an inevitable fact of life. As some QoL tips, the FOV zooming out depending on ship size would be very nice - also, currently all ship parts seem to activate at the same time (healing, auto-lock missile, etc.) - it’d be nice to have a way to have them not be in perfect sync. All in all, from one Roguelite dev to another: Well done!

Glad to hear it! The art team outdid themselves heavily on it, I’m super proud of the visual look of the finished product.

Sad to hear that you found the game annoying later on! Do you have any specific feedback we could implement post-release?

post this cat with considerable delay
The climbing is a little wonky but I fw the vibes heavily

Really fun, with plenty of room for exploration! Would love to see expanded into a finished game someday.

I'm really happy to hear that! This is my first game jam submission I've ever done, so I'm really happy you like what we've made! It would be a good fit for an arcade, come to think of it...
