The sprite size varies depending on the gun type, here's the list for each one:
- Shotgun - 96x32
- Assault Rifle - 96x32
- Sniper Rifle - 128x32
- Pistol - 32x32
Hey there, thanks for the feedback, I made an update regarding the issues with the "Pistol V1.00" files [Link].
The new files should fix the issue with the animations moving out of place, although you may want to replace the older files with the new ones for this to take effect, let me know if it worked.
I see, I'm not really an expert but what it usually work for me is changing the sprite properties from "bilinear" to "point", changing the max size to default, and/or trying different numbers within the "pixels per unit" section, other than that I couldn't tell what the issue is, if none of that works try using this alternative sprite sheet for the "full auto" mode, is a little more simple, I read somewhere that some times the size of the image may influence some things in unity but I'm not completely sure.
Hi there.
I know, I kind of rush it, however when I read your comment I decided to work and finish the first set of crops along with new terrain tiles, you can check it our in the new update.
Thanks for the feedback :)
Hi there, I made this pack some time ago and didn't know how messy it was organized, thank you for the feedback, now I added tile-maps, extra sprite sheets for complete animations and some other stuff, you can now download it from this page and you can check the development log for more information, here's a link.
Thanks!
With, weekly updates this asset pack will be useful in the development of different game genres like action/adventure RPG'S, city building, strategy, farming sim, rogue like, and much more!
Make your own game with an unique set of assets in different sizes [16x16 & 32x32], with character animations, vehicles, multiple terrain formations, resources, and a variety of sci-fi elements.
This new project will focus on the creation of top down assets, all for different game genres (space sim, bullet hell, farming sim, strategy based, tower defense, and more).
This would be an ongoing project and the objective is to build a big enough library to make customizable sci fi environments, here's a list of the assets made so far:
I will keep updating this weekly while I work on more content so feel free to send any feedback, suggestion or request, either though here or at my email, arcadeisland@outlook.com or Discord: ArcadeIsland#4686.
Also, if you want to support me and my projects send me a Ko-fi I will really appreciate it.
Or follow me on twitter and/or Instagram.
Thanks for reading...
…stay tuned for more.
Hello everyone, I've been doing free asset packs for a while but unfortunately I'm now in need of income and the only jobs that I've found online as a freelancer are very few and far between, I want to be more formal about my work and start selling assets so I have a couple of questions but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Where I am right now:
I'm mostly uploading free assets on itch.io and I've seen people earn a decent income (at least from the country where I'm from) I'm about to try my luck with some paid assets, and while I have some followers most of them are in there for the free assets (I assume) so I feel like if I start uploading paid assets on my main account it may be a little unfair but at the same time I kind of want to use what I have at my disposition.
Questions:
- What would be an appropriate price for pixel art asset packs? (I've seen prices form $1.00 up to $30, one example would be the popular asset pack "sunnyside" and I'm aiming to something similar regarding the amount of assets and level of detail)
- Can I grow an audience that purchase my content? (this website is the only one where I have been kind of successful at growing an audience with my work so I feel like maybe I'm having unrealistic expectations while looking at people who upload their work here, maybe the people that supports them come from other places so I'm a little afraid of asking for something like $30 dollars for my work without an audience, I'm gonna try my luck anyways but any advice with this particular question would be great)
Thanks for reading, English isn't my first language so sorry if there's any errors :P
Hi there, sorry for the late reply, it really depends on your project but if you need to have all the parts of the body in one sprite sheet I would recommend to edit the frames in a program and place them on top of each other, after that you can export them more easily in to Unity, otherwise search for "how to split sprites in unity " and I think that there's an option within the program that splits the frames for you.
