Transitions did the trick! Was able to play it all seamlessly :) Loved it! Have always enjoyed this sort of aesthetic.

Can totally imagine a full game of this, after getting a taste for the corporate comeuppance and taking on the world across a bunch of increasingly complex levels!

Thank you! 🤗

Amazing all around

Thanks! Not too worried about the Mac, more reflective of the cross-platform effect. Will give the new exe a shot in the morning, great way to start the day - void juice and employee payback ☕

Good shout to drop the number of ships! Full screen helps big time with that, which I think I can make the default for Itch. They sound like reasonable quality of life changes within the terms of the post-deadline updates 🙏🏼

Yeah it's tough without! We may lower the number of ships so people can have a bit more manageable experience 😅 Glad it caught your interest!

I was able to get through the initial "E to begin" screen by pressing it a second time, but going down the stairs it seems like the fade in/out doesn't trigger right. I'm able to walk back onto the stairs and get a flash of the next floor before it swipes over to the first one.

Seems these are all related and to do with the scene transitions, this is Chrome on macOS all extensions disabled, then Chrome Windows the same, Edge, and the exe.

Strange that it's only a handful of people! Holding off on rating as this actually seems like one of the better games from the little I've been able to do so far! LOVE the style you've got here.

Amazing work on the art! Obviously unfinished, but would love to have been able to see more of the concept.

Love where you're going with this! If you're up for it, it seems like it would make a great post-jam project :)

Amazing! The 50% x2 wombo laptop combo feels great

Is it playable in the browser? Hitting play or back on any menu items just black screens?

You had me at a tax-evading dog (sheep?). Some good humour in there, but I'll be honest the hitboxes and specifically trap-laden levels ended up frustrating me too much to finish. Great effort though!

That was pretty fun :) 1514, not bad!

We chatted on Discord briefly about it, but I hope we can find what causes that! Would love to polish this some more after I take a rest break. Looking forward to trying out yours!

Glad you liked the music! When our amazing audio man dropped that in the Discord, he dropped all our jaws too :)

Sorry they caught you at the docks like that - I just hope it wasn't right from spawn!

We were aiming for a bit of risk-reward with leaving your ship to go on land while the threat looms in the ocean.

Nice! The bridge collisions stuck out like a sore thumb for a new player there, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks! Definitely felt like a lot more than a single week, but the appreciation makes it all worth it!

Some of those dialogue lines haha. Great work, awesome concept. Pineapple IS a vegetable.

Love the pack! Looking probably to purchase this and the rest of the Sci-Fi set, but one thing that would take it up a level is if you were planning to make the characters 8 directions!
