Very original and cool concept, but there is a real lack of difficulty curve. The game is too easy and stays too easy, I got bored and ended up letting myself die on purpose after 1000 points because it was just too simple and didn’t seem to get harder. If the game was faster paced and getting harder over time, it would have been a really great one, but as it is it gets boring fast 😔

The lack of multitouch ruined the game for me, the controls become terrible just because of that 😩 Music and graphics are pretty goo otherwise, and the level design is pretty OK. Keep up the good work 👍

Simple yet cool game, good job 👍

Neat game, though the experience was ruined for me by the rocket being uncontrollable - if I move faster than a few millimeters a second the rocket just flies away from my control.

Ooo, that’s definitely going to be one of my favorites of this jam. Very cool game, I just wish that the first round was not so excruciatingly slow 😩

Nice game Man. I really love Multiplayer Games.

Thank you very much!

Also don’t see any Leaderboard wich does not fit to the theme of the jam.

Actually, there is a realtime leaderboard when playing the game. I got unexpectedly held back in the last hours of the jam so I could not finish the game over screen so it does not show who won, but the winner is supposed to be the one with the highest score, aka the one who dealt the most damage, not the last one alive. As such the leaderboard is in fact more important to that game as for all the other games that just made a normal mobile game where leaderboards have no importance and put the leaderboards “on the side”.

The game was supposed to be in multiple rounds too and depending on your position on the leaderboards you would have gotten buffs or debuffs, but since that part did not make it into the game at all, that does not really count.

But it’s a bit hard for mobile players with the long code it could be smaller.

If you are on chrome, you should have a “Share” button that makes it super easy to share your game 😎 It opens the native share menu with a link to the game that will auto-connect to your room.

An Tutorial or something like it would be neat cause i didn’t know what to do at the start.

I agree, this was planned but I did not get the time to make that.

Cool game! The variety of obstacles and difficulty increase through time make the game stay very interesting and engaging 😍 It also makes use the touchscreen of the medium well!

🌵🍉

👏

:o Very cool game, uses the touch controls of the mobile platform well in a cool yet simple game concept. Only had two issues:

  • It took me a moment to understand how to put items in the boxes. Maybe you could put open box lids or those imprinted arrows that show where top is so that we know what face of the box we are supposed to throw objects at from the get-go.

  • The game forgot my name shortly after I entered it and re-asked it, & didn’t let me pick the same name as before because it was already taken.

Did you try playing the game on a phone?

I didn’t get what I was supposed to do, I understood after experimenting for a few minutes that I could drag the spoken shapes into the bottom holes and the droplets onto the workers, but I do not see how they interoperate or what I am expected to do. Maybe a tutorial would have been nice.

The game’s OK, but not very engaging. It is to easy, and gets boring & repetitive fast. Also the directions are counter intuitive, I think most people would expect the buttons to rotate the circle in the opposite directions.

Oooo! Very nice and original! Very cool menu, I like how you kept it ultra simple yet interesting using the shaking effect. Juice makes the game 💪 Only issue I had is that it took me the first two questions to understand that the bottom line is the answers I should pick. Maybe just putting a different color or a frame around each to show that they are different choices would be nice 🥰

(1 edit)

Very neat! Though, one small issue ruined the game for me: after a few retries it ends up loading indefinitely, not letting me replay unless I reload the whole game 💀

In the more minor issues, sometimes the ball just didn’t attach itself to the next box despite being very near it, multiplayer did not work, sometimes while playing the screen dimmed as if I had lost when I had not, and the shop’s offering changes so little and is so easy to obtain that it could have as well just not been put in.

But overall I found this game to be quite refreshing compared to some other games in the jam, good job!

a

Nice game, though it definitely could use a lot of polish (camera at the start, jump sound, graphics, animations) and more diverse game play (different cars and patterns, maybe acceleration/deceleration, other kinds of obstacles…). You could use HelperWesley’s DeltaChase as a reference of how to take a game of that genre to the next level, and higher ;)

I didn’t play very far tbf, but it’s a pretty simple and nice game. I have no strong feelings towards it, neither good nor negative. I guess it could have used a little more juice, and less enemies but with a more interesting AI would have been cool.

Also, PC controls please 🙏

Pretty fun and original game! I spent a good moment playing that one. Though, the menu is a bit unclear and could use some polish, and how to win the game is not clear. I also could not find the leaderboards in this game? But nonetheless it was fun and that’s what’s important :)

Good job, I can see you have put effort in this! I have a few suggestions on how you could have improved your game:

  • Another element to the gameplay that allows it to be less repetitive would have been nice, for example different types of zombies, powerups, waves, collecting munitions…

  • The text’s font doesn’t look very good, maybe try using another one?

  • There is no visual indicator of the progress of the zombies (or if there is it is too hidden as I’ve not seen it), it would be cool to have a healthbar or a breaking animation on the barrier to see how close they are to winning?

Very fun game! I ended up playing it for an embarrassingly long amount of time 😅 The gameplay is super simple to understand, yet with a sufficient amount of different elements and change to keep it interesting. You 100% nailed casual games, which is not an easy task and very fitting for a mobile game, congrats 👍

A nice casual mobile game! The controls feel chaotic, which is both annoying and making the charm of the game.

Try using the new experimental text input object instead of the text entry, it’s much more user friendly and especially so on mobile ;)

At one moment I had a bug, where the frog landed on a slot with no lilypad, and the game acted as if this was a normal empty lilypad.

That looks good, would you mind uploading an HTML5 build though? I do not have the space on my computer to keep a PC build there.

Thanks! Be careful though, the events in here a quite different and simplified from GDevelop, please don’t use this as a GDevelop learning resource 😅

Nice game, great art and attention to detail, though the game doesn’t feel very nice to play. I think the polish went too much into less important details like the character being slowed down when looking the other way when running, and less into more important details like the gun being clunky, or the first boss being too simplistic… 4/5, a missed opportunity for 5/5 if you ask me.

I want this game to win. This is the best piece of art I have seen in ages and I cannot begin to express the joy I got from playing this gem. 6/5, would recommend.

Very fun game! I really like the intro video and music, and the game itself, while not feeling very polished, is very fun, and has a balanced difficulty making the game fun and hard to beat without being unfair either. The theme looks like an afterthought, but it is overlookable considering the quality of the gameplay. 4/5

Pretty neat game! Well executed, good enough graphics and audio, simple but fun concept. The game does get boring a bit fast though, and the controls are a bit clunky. 4/5

Thanks :D

We’re glad you like it :)

Thanks 😎

Thanks :) We plan to add more levels and events, and polish the game overall (better code quality/performance, allowing selecting/deleting events and instructions, better tutorial, making the interactions with the “dev” (yellow text) better…). Personally, I’d be in favor of open sourcing the game at some point too, maybe even submitting it as an example, but I need to talk this through with the team.

Nice game! It took me much time to understand the way you are supposed to carry objects back to the base, it wasn’t very challenging and had many bugs breaking immersion and ruining the fun though :/ The idea and artistic design of the game definitely saves it though! 3.5/5

Nice game! Kind of hard to master, and sometimes slightly too slow and silent imo but that aspect is also really relaxing 😌. Nice experience overall, would recommend, good job!

Thank. U 2.

Thanks :) Good luck to you too if you participate to the jam as well.
