Thanks so much for trying it out, we are definitely adding a gamepad option post-jam!

Right above the town the levels do become vertical! But overall, we did design the movement to be a challenge, so you have to manage momentum and stuff. Most people I've seen play it, like yourself, seem to wish it was more dynamic/action platformer... so, I think we didn't get it just right this time.

Btw, there is a secret way to enable "FAST HOOK", which shoots faster and has zero recharge midair ;) It's tricky to enable atm, you have to reach a secret level. We are going to add just a cheatcode for it post-jam.

I am so glad you liked it, and that someone noticed how the stages line up !!

You are not alone about the start of the mountain climb, sadly most people I've watched play it get stuck there! We've edited it now to make it more clear, and made the NPC tell you helpful stuff about it.

The way is: hook on to the top yellow block, and then swing your body so you get close to the gray one while hooked to the yellow, and it will then turn yellow.

Thanks, I am so glad you liked it!

Thank you for trying it out!! I agree about the visuals, nice but definitely in need of some motion!

Thanks so much for the feedback.  We thought that the lore would be that residents were typically just connecting blocks with wires, so it wouldn't make sense for them to make a poster that directly implies grappling. But you are absolutely right that clarity should take complete priority over lore. We will improve that poster!

Very nicely done, It was fun navigating the maze-like environment with the pale background. It was also fun to play around with the wall climbing, though the controls of it felt a bit unoptimized, just in how we go faster by spamming space as fast as possible. I think you could add some reward for the combat? Or maybe I didn't get far enough! It was fun, but the navigation was more enjoyable so I ended up ignoring the enemies. As Injate suggested, making them more dangerous/hard to avoid would add to the experience if avoiding them was the intended playstyle.

I only made it to wave 6! It is quite fun, I did enjoy the multitasking kind of nature.  Maybe it's best to introduce something like the note can't be too far from the player? Otherwise, it feels a bit like it's meant for 2 players.

Thank you very much, yes our artist did such amazing and quick work didn't they!

This game is great, it even feels polished. You could balance the attacks a little, I think that attack that comes from all sides was pretty fun. I was quite bad at it so sorry if I missed somethings that happen later!

Fun game! Your sprites are fine, they get the job done. Would have liked to play a few more levels!

I really liked it. The boss battle got so intense!
