I love the visual design, and the bulk of the gameplay, while simple, was engaging and tied into the story well.

However, the decoding segment does not work as well for me. First of all, it's significantly harder than anything before or after it. Second of all, the "hints" are for things I never in a million years could have possibly guessed on my own. And finally, because decoding language is so dependent on being able to guess what certain words are, even minor typos like "researches" (the plural of "research" is just "research") can completely break the puzzle.

Overall I love the concept, and the visuals really tie everything together. Great job!

Very clever idea, and good job on the intro. Making a game in a week is hard!

Thanks so much! I was toying around with some of the variables, accidentally created a massive storm, and realized it might make for a good lose screen. I'm glad it worked.

This is a great puzzle game. The design has a great blend between feeling open-ended while still having a structured solution, the pixel art looks great, and the music choices suit the game beautifully. Levels 1 and 2 are essentially perfect.

When it comes to level 3, in theory I love the concept of a cozy puzzle game which suddenly becomes a high intensity boss fight. However, I think the gameplay is too much of a shift from levels 1 and 2, mostly because it's now completely random. I think something like Captain Toad's boss fights would have suited this game better, where it's still a structured puzzle, you can just die now.

Overall excellent game, and I'd definitely play any future iterations you make. Great job!

Also, where's the "snowy storm?" Did I not get far enough?

Solid Asteroids clone, but it feels way too easy. There's basically no incentive for me to even move around. Maybe increase the amount of asteroids, or make them more likely to move toward the player.

I love this so much! I don't know if it was your intention but this reminds me of those classic troll platformers that would just randomly kill you in a funny way, except now it's an actual puzzle. I got stuck with the piston platform, but I'll probably come back later and try to beat it. Incredible job!

Glad you enjoyed it! I'd definitely tweak the difficulty curve in a future update.

Thanks so much! I'm glad I was able to nail the aesthetic, since the Atari was several decades before I was born.

Genius idea! The theme is great, and the ways you kept all the game mechanics on theme are so smart (turning off airplane mode to start the round!!!). The game is way too hard though, I expected the first round to be kind of slow and then everything came all at once. Also the game does not render properly on my 16:10 display but that's understandable. Overall great job!

I'm glad my graphics worked, I was worried they'd be too simple. The VIP guests blocking normal guests is definitely a problem, and I'll try your solution out. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you so much! I was definitely inspired by classic arcade and Atari games with this one. Ironically enough, that "icantdraw Studios" logo was the asset I put the most work into; I wanted it to look perfectly terrible. Regarding balance, I definitely could have used more playtesting (or honestly any playtesting at all). Thanks again for the feedback!

Very cute game. Love the art and sound design. The gameplay is a bit too easy if you just spam dogs, but that could definitely be fixed in a future version. Great job!

Very cool concept, and I love the contrast in music between the "calm" and "storm" parts (though the win music is a bit too intense imo). The art-style feels very nice. Level 5 was much more challenging than anything before or after it, but that might just be a me problem. Overall a very fun game, good job!
