Ah, but then the question is when do you stop buying because not spending for the production boost is more efficient, or if it's more effective to buy a cheaper, less efficient one first so you can afford the more expensive, more efficient one sooner... I dunno, maybe I'm over-complicating things in my head. This just feels like a case where the greedy solution isn't necessarily the optimal one.

Thanks! One of the things that I found the most interesting about this design once I started was that there is going to be an optimal set of choices... but I have no idea what it is, or even how to find it. I have the sneaking suspicion that the math needed to find it is actually fairly complicated, too.

That was a great game! Impressively done for just 48 hours. One thing I will say is that it doesn't work quite as well when your keyboard layout isn't QWERTY, but I recognise that I'm in the extreme minority. Still had fun though; it's like an extra layer of challenge.

Thanks! Yeah, it turns out having a static number there is actually quite confusing... which makes a lot of sense in hindsight.

Thanks! Yeah, looking at it now, I can see how that's confusing. Probably should have called it "Days Remaining" and had it count down or something.

Gosh, that was cute.
The randomised levels is a neat idea, but it did make the first obstacle on my first playthrough too hard to get past, having no experience yet. Maybe the non-randomised "tutorial" part could be longer, or something?
