The boss got less love than the others. I think I would've made a different weapon set and maybe some custom mechanics like gaining 1 attack and defense each turn. I also wish I made the boss music myself. The music doesn't match the vibe I was going for.

If I were to redo this not in a jam setting I would certainly invest in a tutorial lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for the feedback :)

Godot has a really easy implementation for adding different spirits for hovering over buttons that I didn't use. I want to blame the low resolution but I could have been a little more creative with it. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you so much for playing! It really helped to draw the 64x64 square in asprite and drawing something, then moving it out of the box to build the sprite sheet. Getting weapon sprites to be distinct in such a small box took some messing with but I really liked how it turned out.

I would appreciate a little legend so I can see what exactly everything is, and maybe some button noise for feedback (sfxr.exe is excellent for fast game jam sounds).

I love simulation games like this. I am always fascinated and in awe of anyone who can create an entire ecosystem/world. Quite the project to take on in two weeks - bravo!

I have been toying with an idea of a turn based game where you pick both an attack and defense move in the same turn. I hadn't quite figured it out until I stumbled across this idea. I certainly might revamp it to a full scale game...

Thank you for playing!

Fair point I hadn't noticed lol.

Neat little game. I like the level select system and the little details like filenames and emails in the background. Good work!

A way to make the game a little more fair would be to move the camera in the direction you are moving like 16 pixels or so. You could also adjust their speed considering they already have the element of surprise.

Excellent metroidvania

I added all of the stats and equipment into a png on the side. I've also added some more information in the description. Thanks for playing and thanks for the suggestion. :)

I did consider adding a spread sheet but for whatever reason decided not to. I'll work on adding that tonight.

I think I was spam clicking the door area as it appeared

lol I broke it. On a serious note, the animations are awesome. I'd totally play this in not a jam setting. Maybe my favorite so far.

I'll go ahead and add it into the description. Thanks for the feedback!

I love everything about it

Yeah um what on earth is this? I love it, but it's like a cough syrup fever dream.

Heck yeah this is awesome!

For 24 hours you did an excellent job. You should be proud of this!

I might just be bad at platformers, but I cannot get past the first area. That jump is just a little too high :(

118 seconds... it probably wasn't supposed to be as hard as I made it but boy was it. Good entry

I am a sucker for factory and TD games. With a little more juice and some music I could easily sink a bunch of time playing this. Good job :)

I'm extremely proud of this. I have issues finishing projects and quitting jams but I did it and even finished early. I am very grateful for anyone that gives it a try :)
