Definitely fits the theme. I just found the movement a bit too frustrating, I think it's because the submarine doesn't go very far when launching and when anchored the submarine completely stops. Maybe it would help if it kept some of your movement so you could build up momentum. Otherwise great job

Fun idea and fits the theme. It's a bit rough around the edges, but good work putting it all together in a week. If you plan on expanding this I think it would be cool if the pictures could be viewed afterwards.

Fun game and fits the theme. I like the way the headlights light up your surroundings and the radar works great(just wish it was a little bigger though, maybe it's just my monitor). 

I had so much fun playing this game! I like the simple mechanics, it feels very intuitive. The art and the sounds also create a great atmosphere. I found it impressive that there are so many events with fun writing. It truly feels like an adventure.

Sorry! The start deeper upgrade seems to be a little... questionable, the original idea was that the player could skip the shallower areas and start deeper where there would be more/bigger pearls. Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry about that. Maybe after the player has fallen there could be a short invincibility period. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! There is something at the end, but yes currently there is no real goal.. The original idea was that reaching deeper depths would be the goal, there was supposed to be a depth meter and these milestone depths that would award the player with pearls if they reached them.

The controls do need some work, maybe a button that slows you down but makes you turn faster could help? Also there should definitely be a main menu... Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! There actually was supposed to be a depth meter and the game was supposed to start at the surface, but we kinda ran out of time. I'll be sure to keep the oxygen drain rate upgrade in mind in case we ever continue development.
