Thank you very much for taking the time to play the game and provide the feedback. I am really glad you were able to have some fun playing the game, that is the best feedback I could have hoped to hear.

Really sorry about the crashes you experienced. I appreciate if you could tell me if you tried the game on Windows 10 or Windows 11, so I can further explore the issue.

Regarding the feedback on the controls, I am glad that you felt the controls were smooth, that is super important for a platformer like Automatonics.

Regarding the aiming down ability, it is in fact intended to work only when you jump, the instructions should indeed be more clear. Anyway, for future development it seems like it could be useful to review the aiming down ability, and maybe allow it when the player is on ground. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hello. Sorry about the issue you had. Since the previous versions of the game were developed on Godot 3 (0.0.2.X), and the new versions (0.0.3.X) were developed on Godot 4, the save files are not compatible. This probably resulted in the game not being able to properly get you out of the level at the end. I will try to replicate the issue here.

It seems like you played level 1-3 based on the description. Indeed an alternative path could be added to give an option for the player to give up a collectible and move on with the level, in case the they run out of the required ammo. That would be more fair.

Thank you very much for the feedback.

Sorry about the issue. It's fixed now.

Thank you

Hi, Servelat.

I am very happy to see that you liked the game visual style. I appreciate the feedback regarding mismatch between the key art and the game art-style, as it is the very first impression for the game. The key art improvement will definetely be a priority for future versions. The visual language struggles can be improved for the next versions of the game, I can see how the background elements can blend too much with interacting elements.

Some aspects are overlooked during the game development, and the matching of the dashing and dodging when fighting enemies might be one of them. I can see how it can be dissatisfying to not be able to have proper pattern or combinations of in-game abilities, that can be mastered to give the player an advantage when fighting tougher enemies. I really appreciate this feedback, as it can definetely help to make Automatonics a better game overall.

Regarding the tutorial, I really like your suggestion, although I think it would be much more complex to implement the hints into the levels as the player progress through the game. But I do see how it would create a much improved player experience, it is definely something of great value that I will keep in mind.

Thank you very much for playing the game and providing such useful feedback. I hope you can play the future versions of Automatonics.

Hi, hythrain.

Thank you very much for taking the time to play Automatonics again. I am very glad that you had fun playing the game, that means a lot as a feedback.

Your overall feedback for the game is very detailed and specific, I appreciate it a lot. I am definetely going to work on changing the loss of keys upon death and the crumbling blocks, I can see how the current design can be frustating for the player.

I also appreciate the flying enemies feedback. I must admit I overlooked how this feature could affect the player experience. I am sure there must be a better solution to be studied for future versions.

Again, thank you very much for taking the time to play Automatonics and providing such detailed feedback. Hope you can play the next versions.

Thank you very much for taking the time to play Automatonics.

I just watched your gameplay on the youtube link provided, it provided really helpful feedback. Cannot thank you enough.

Definetely going take a look at the points mentioned to try and improve the game.

Hey, thank you for the feedback.

The keyboard controls is a very hard issue to tackle, I appreciate the feedback, as it tells me that there is still a lot to be improve there. Also thanks for pointing out the foreground and blended objects issues that are impacting the gameplay, it is a very direct and assertive feedback, it helps a me lot.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the art style and music!

Again, thank you very much!

Thank you very much for the time and effort playing and providing the feedback and suggestions.

I'm really glad to see a positive comment regarding the artwork and robot designs. The HUD between levels is indeed an aspect that I really like and ideas for new features appear all the time, I'm glad it caught your attention on a good way.

Thank you for pointing out the need to improve the fonts and foreground decoration, it does seem like some small changes could really improve the game quality here. It is also really good to receive a feedback regarding the HUD and in-game information, there is a lot of room for changes in this aspects to improve the player experience.

The feedback regarding the enemies continuously hitting the player and even the suggested solution are really valuable to me. Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for the feedback.

I really appreciate the comment regarding the mismatch on the music, it made me aware of something very imporant that was going unnoticed by me until now.

If I may ask, could you provide a little bit more detail on the feedback about the companion robot that keeps flying over the player? It would be very valueable to me.

Thank you very much for taking the time to play and evaluate the game!

Thank you!
