Great game! Loved the theme, although I kept losing all my beans.. uh. I mean money.

Thank you for the positive comment. Buy some jellybeans at the shop when you're there next time. We're not masquerading as big bean trying to get you to buy in and buy big bean paraphernalia at all. Big love xx Beanware Team

Thank you, we really appreciate that!

Ha, we had a variable that scaled off of current velocity, (limited if you hit a certain threshold) but the velocity itself was super inconsistent (tied to framerate I think!) which made it an absolute pain to test. This is our first attempt at 3D physics, so it was a lot of trial and error.

very fair! It should have had a cup of joe first ;)

Thanks for taking time to review our game! This was our first attempt at a 3D game, so thank you <3
Very fair, we'd have loved more time to work on the mechanics, especially since the webGL and .exe versions ended up playing differently D:

Music per level is nice, and I like the enemy designs! Even trying the hard level though I couldn't get it to work. Perhaps I was doing something wrong, but it wasn't very intuitive. I think the movement could be a little faster and I didn't seem to be able to switch weapons (cool concept though).

Agree with the rest of the comments, once I figured it out, it was very fun! For ages I thought the sword icon was a 0, and didn't realise it was an attack. But cool idea, and well executed. Well done!

Really nice level design and cool idea! I'd love to see more levels. I think the tall grass segments could be a little clearer that you can't roll into them. The player dice could also be a little faster, and the play again doesn't work (I assume all the assets need reloaded). Looks good, and music was cool! Nice inclusion of a tutorial :D

I definitely think it could have instructions or a how to play section, as it's not exactly clear how the dice mechanic works. Other than that, cool idea!

Very cool!

Thank you for the very detailed feedback :D We'd definitely like to make it more dynamic, and slowly scale the difficulty.

We cannot confirm nor deny if the jellybean will find you at this time.

Thanks for the feedback! Ideally we'd like to add more progress so it's a little easier to learn the game.

(1 edit)

Thank you for the feedback! No way to skip it, but definitely something we should do.

P.S.
