Yo! This game is fun!!! I'm was playing on keyboard until I got to some of hte end game levels with the double dragons and could not proceed until I hooked up a controller.

The game is beautiful. The music is very fitting. There could be more polish on the areas with the shadow dragon head as far as the music goes. I could see the music changing pitch down when the lantern is off to make the looming threat seem more scary. :D But that's not a slight against the team for the game jam. You have a solid game. (I wrote this bit before I saw the double dragons, so maybe change pitches for each? idk, may not work)

I enjoyed adventuring through the levels. The path to get to the feather was a challenge I really enjoyed! I died so many times in the later levels, but that's a skill issue on my part. But starting over at the start of the area, which made it feel fun and not tedious. Casual adventure puzzle platformer comes to mind. This could be changed if you wanted to have a game mode that was more challenging by reseting back to a save point. :)

I actually enjoyed the lack of enemies in early levels. It made it feel like a puzzle platformer and nothing like a hack & slash adventure. I would buy this game.

Add a bit of story to it, add more levels, and some NPCs  to help along the way and build the lore of the world, a reason to get the potions made to continue adventuring instead of simply finding ingredients. Simply finding ingredients too is also good.

Very cute game, very enjoyable! I hope to see it on steam!

I think they are just a bit to tough. It takes away from the run and kill spree feel. But I did enjoy having an enemy that did not die in 2 clicks. :)

This is fun! I enjoy the shadow mechanics, at first they were a bit odd to me but I found jumping and nearly hitting spikes bc I couldnt see made me use other mechanics to save myself, which was fun.
I would improve the damage animation so that it's more clear that you are hurt. I died before I knew what was going on. I thought enemies weren't damaging me. :)
Some of the platforms I couldn't reach which was a bit frustrating. But otherwise solid.
The art style is great! And I really liked the combat. It felt really good!
The switch from side scroller to top down dungeon crawler was fun!

This is a really fun game and I hope to see more work put into it. I think you have something here that could do really well!
