This was done really well. You even have the instructions lay out on the screen.

This is my gameplay feedback:

It took awhile to know what to put down and then the click to activate the sequence because the game loads with the monsters to the side, it didn't seemed like they would attacked and I assumed we were just growing things but after placing things down, nothing happened.

Also the map load in a big open space so the initial first instinct is to walk around and explore, which also meant I didn't think about planting the stuff or what it will do even though you had all the instructions laid out. After figuring out how this works, I cleared the little monsters that I grew and man I wish there was more.

The visuals are great, the font as well, would love to see you take this to another level of a game.

This was pretty addictive, I found the gems far later.
It seems like the map is procedural generated? Very simple, direct and straight forward.

The blinking bar as hint that you need something to survive works really well as a visual cue. I think maybe to make it more oblivious the mushroom could start off by saying "I need some mushrooms now, I don't want to die" or something along the lines to prompt the user to move because on the first play I was still orientating myself.

I hope you continue working on this to put in more obstacles / items to encourage the user to keep going further for a possiblity of a higher "game score". Great job on this.

I'm glad to hear the team will continue to work on this. Is there any chance to get involve for play test or in a capacity to observe your dev work to learn?

Very cool fishing game, I really like the graphics, cool vibes, as well as the fishing mechanic.

Here's a bug I found:

I didn't get to experience the bigger waves or strong winds because the game bugged out. On my second trip when I arrive back at shore, the selling store menu popped out even though I'm not in range.  From there on the player control stucks and the menu couldn't be removed and occasionally I could talk to the upgrade shop but couldn't go back on ship.

Wishlist :

When you are on board ship, I hope you can space out or just add a home button for the return key because I didn't realize you could click that. Also, I wish there was a signboard at the fish shop that points to the left for a user hint.

Final thoughts:

The purple fish was really difficult to catch, got a glimpse of the golden or bronze fish, wish I had a chance to go further and experience the storm and everything else. Overall this was pretty fun and I can't imagine the amount of work that went in to make this small game. It is very well put together and kudos to the small team for putting something like this out. Hope to see more games from you lot.
