Hey trisbee,

My antivirus detected the "DontGiveUp.exe" as malware and quarantined it. It's probably a false positive but I never had this happen to me before.

Edit: Some more info: It was categorized as "Machine Learning" for some reason. Does the game send player metrics?

Using my trusty gun loaded with bouncing bullets, I make my way deeper underground to hell while trying to dodge the flying skulls. With my vision obscured, I cannot see far below me, and with each fall being a leap of faith, I dare not forget to count my blessings as I pray to God that no sharp-horned devils lay waiting below me. However, the journey is fruitful; I collected money, which will prove to be of value later on. Onward I move, making my way further down. My only sense of relief quickly arrives and just as quickly vanishes when I find the open doorway, only to continue my perilous journey forever downwards...

Great game!

You're welcome. I'm glad that you like it!

Nice work so far. Can't wait to play this game when it's finished!

I updated the package. Let me know if the blurriness is fixed for you.

I tested it and it looks better at higher 10:9 ratio (320x288, 480x432, 640x576, etc.). 160x144 is the one where the text looks the worst

If you put the scale to 1x, this is how small 160x144 is.

This is 320x288. If you keep going up, it gets more and more clearer.

This is 480x432.

You can put the game window size at 160x144 but it's just too small to see and you're better off increasing it to at least 480x432, as long as you keep to the 160x144 resolution.

For some reason the text looks okay when the game window is at 10:9 aspect ratio. To recreate it, can you tell me what your window size is?

Thanks! For those of you who are worried about the 4 color limit, I updated it to make it easier for you to set your own color scheme. How it works is there will be blocks of color moving quickly behind the background. Just select the different blocks in the canvas under "Color Ramp" and change the color. You can also change the color of the font and the background.
