Hey, by accident today I noticed several HTML5 games *will not* play music (but will play sound effects) when launched through the itch.io launcher, but will play music when launched from a web browser. For example:

https://thejamark1.itch.io/astras-moon

Has anyone seen this before? Do we know the cause? Is it a bug in the framework these games use? What web browser component does itch.io use internally to launch HTML5 games? Thanks!

I didn't realize there was music until I saw other comments.  For some reason music doesn't play when you run the game through the itch.io Launcher, but it works fine from the web browser.

Anyway, a great bit of fun, very well polished, well done!

Nice little bit of fun, but unfortunately I found the controls quite difficult to master (playing with gamepad; keyboard was a little better).

Nifty, neat little bit of fun. Nice touch letting you bounce flames off walls!

Nifty! It was a neat bit of fun, but one really nice touch was allowing you to bounce flames off walls.

Is the OST & Artbook available here on itch.io too?  Would prefer to buy here.

The difficulty for the first level is now more what I'd expect.  However, a speed (difficulty) slider would still be appreciated especially due to later levels.  If that's unrealistic, then just consider an unlimited lives option.  Alternatively, maybe a rogue-lite mechanic of some kind would work here.  Right now it's too easy to get increasingly frustrated in a cycle of spawn-die 1 sec later-spawn-die-spawn-die-spawn-die.

Please provide difficulty options.  The game looked interesting, but there's just too much going on for me on the screen at one time.  Just being able to slow down the game a little would help a lot.  Based on the demo, this isn't something I'd enjoy at the current difficulty.

What an amazing little, trippy game.  The music, visuals, and artwork are generally outstanding.  If you're looking for something deep, this isn't it, but it's a lovely way to pass the time.

Hey, was just wondering if you knew why clicking the install button in the itch.io app always installs the demo even though I purchased the game.  Is it because I've installed the demo before, or because this is early access and you haven't hooked up the early access version to install?

Maybe related somehow to this?
