This game was definitely super fun! it has plenty of interesting mechanics in place and with some good polish, it would definitely be a must-play VR game. I'm sorry for not playing it and rating it earlier but I want to congratulate you on accomplishing so much in such a short period of time... that's crazy! I unfortunately did have a small issue (on my side) with my HTC Vive inputs not having a 'primary button' and so I was unable to switch off the commando which sucked. I'm honestly not sure how you would go about fixing it... maybe using the Touchpad Clicked or Analog Pressed? I did notice you had snap rotate so maybe the left controller can swap? any who, awesome game and I'm excited to see your future games. good luck!

understandable, I know there was some annoying kinks with the buttons (so no, it wasn't you being dumb :3 ) … I actually redid the buttons to work correctly (on the latest patch)… the issue came from the fact that the souls had multiple colliders and the button script was super rushed and basically only worked one way (hence why the ending didn't have buttons resetting). In terms of the un-pressed button towards the end, I'm unsure whether its a bug or part of the puzzle … I know that 2 of the platforms actually disable a platform while enabling another... I cant really explain it numerically but the puzzle always leads to the final button being the first active platform... in other words, the middle platform closest to the previous section is the final button that needs pressing. all in all, I'm glad you enjoyed the aesthetic and I will definitely be making a more clearer teaching flow through a more structured but entertaining tutorial. If you are interested in trying the game again, feel free to check out the updated version (currently 1.4d) or keep a look out for the 2.0 which I am slowly but surely working on :)
it might be because Open VR isn't supported without using the preview packages (for the newest versions of unity) ... valem made a video on how to set it up :) he explains how to set it up around the 2 minute mark... I think I linked the video to start at 1:50... again thank you for your time and effort and look forward to trying out your game :D
honestly super appreciate your comment. in terms of the small world theme, i was kinda thinking of making multiple characters and so the aim was to experience life from different souls ...the same world but different souls see and experience it differently. it kinda fell apart theme wise by the second day because i realised i wouldn't be able to finish the game and i prioritized making a game that worked over the theme.
i completed the entire game and it was pretty fun... i had no idea you could grab multiple bottles until I accidently grabbed 2 during the 6th level (the wall jump is lowkey annoying since it doesn't work on the edge... i tried jumping from yellow to red but its impossible). all in all, a genuinely great game that's fun to play and honestly was worth playing the entirety of it. the sound was ok, i like the beat but of course its repetitive (very fair since its a jam)
Definitely a fun and well built game with plenty of stuff to do :D
The platforming and progression is excellent, the gameplay is entertaining. No complaints at all. I'd say the only thing that would make this feel a little more smoother is cayote time / jump buffering. There wasn't any sound effects but the trail renderer and simplistic art style fits the game nicely :)
