Solid game overall, great graphics. I wish the gameplay was a little better tho. I felt like I was just running around avoiding stuff or memorzing random sequences
Thank you for the feedback! I will look to improve that in future games ;)
Nice game! I liked how things were in-sync with the music. The boss fight was awesome, even though I sometimes got hit by... something? Maybe the slams do a shockwave, but it wasn't telegraphed at all. The three PS signal posts could've let out unique sounds to separate them from each other. And as others have already said, checkpoints would've been a good quality of life feature.
Good work, keep it up!
Woow thanks! Reviews like yours really help and I totally agree for the shockwave and the sound for every different post and I will add it to my notes!
I just can't stop playing this game i just tryharded all the day, it is so much intuitive that now, i am speedrunning the game lmao
This game is really funny, its really fluid, i felt like I was really playing the the narrator when he was challenging me to do the tasks. The dev have a lot of potential I'm sure he's going to win the competition! I have no doubt

This was so fun, and the narrator was very well done, most narrations i see in games are annoying but not this one. The art and gameplay is amazing but yeah i have already seen a lot of people talked about this but some sounds and game juice would make the game more satisfying and fun to play, for ex some sounds when you finish a puzzle to make it more rewarding. But, only 3 days so i can understand that you didn't have much time. Overall great submission!
Thank you for playing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it, I think you are right and don't worry I had the time to make better sound effects, I just decided to spend it on other things and that was not my best idea, I will take note for future games ;)
I wish I'd finished it, it was very fun, and the narrator too. But I died at the 3rd goblin wave and didn't want to redo the puzzles all over. Maybe you could add checkpoints.
I wanted to add checkpoints but ran out of time sadly, Thanks for playing!
Hello there!
I really enjoyed your game. I especially love how sassy the narrator can be. I also think it's great how the difficulty of the game increases incrementally.
Apart from the user feedback others mentioned, I didn't find any other fault.
Overall, you should be proud!
Great game! The "gladiator ring" style was super charming, the sprite work was excellent, I didn't encounter any bugs, and the music was amazing. However, as someone elso also mentioned, the game seriously lacks feedback. Sound effects are super important when it comes to making a game fun. Every click on the UI, every enemy killed, every sword swung has to have a sound in order to immerse the player. You could give a player a "mighty destroyer of worlds" gun which kills everything in one hit, but without the proper sound effect, even that would feel weak. Screen shake is also a great tool to achieve a similar effect. Also, some leeway on the bow would've gone a long way in order to make the bow fighting the best it can be, but it was fun when I started getting used to it. I died at the final boss once but it was really well-designed and it was fun. The ending was cute as well.
Here are some useful resources in order to improve your future games:
First of all, thank you soo much for such a constructive and detailed feedback. I agree with everything you said and I have the same feeling, I should've spend more time on the sound effects instead of worrying about a second wave of goblin for example. I will watch the YouTube video later and learn more about sound effects. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and will try yours later!
Good job, I really enjoyed your game. Puzzle with aiming was kinda cool tho. I also really liked the story part of the game. But the game provides too small feedback to the player. Otherwise, this is a really good submission!
Thanks you a lot for playing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Could you please elaborate on small feedback? That way I don't make the same error in the future
The game doesn’t have any sound feedback when you press ui elements, use your weapon without damaging a target. Also the game doesn’t have any scene transitions (i recommend you to to check out blackthornprod tutorial), and also the game doesn’t have much particles, which can give some juicy impact to the game. Otherwise the game is good.
Really enjoyed it! good variety of mechanics and very engaging. nailed the theme also.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
awesome simple game but screw that stupid boss battle -_- killed it and its fall killed me so I had to do it all over again.
I feel bad for you cause the same happened to me while play-testing. Sorry, I hope you enjoyed the game at least ahah <3
This was really fun, playing hit-and-run with the goblins was fun, and the final boss had very well telegraphed moves. The arrow puzzle was pretty tough though.
Not sure if this was intentional, but I could keep swinging the sword while aiming and firing the bow. This lady has some crazy moves.
Good sense of humor, and quality presentation. Great job!
It was intentional but quite broken I agree. Thanks for the feedback!
Fantastic job! I loved the pixel art style and puzzle/fighting mix. Plus you did a good job making the narrator entertaining! The only thing I would change about it was the resolution was a bit wonky and blocked off some of the tutorial text. Other than that great job!
Whoopsie, that is my fault, I should've tested on more resolutions. Thanks for the feedback!
Good game! I'm a little torn because I dislike simon says puzzles and had to do the ones at the start twice because I died, but that's just personal taste. It was all very well put together, and that last fight with the minotaur was pretty tense.
I wanted to make save state so you don't have to go to the start every time so don't worry I agree with you ;)
Really great game! ill come back and rate it highly when they fix that haha!
Thanks!
This is a really good game , its a mix between puzzles and combat fighting !!! Awesome !! I had a blast ! Keep it up !
