nice game :D sorry i forgor to rate it during the jam

this is so cool

checking out all comments tomorrow:D (hopefully) thanks for the feedback

can I have some feedback :D https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-166-earth/rate/2941400

They were going to have a different purpose but in the end they became a funny filler that you shouldn’t eat lmao

Thank you for your kind comments! Glad you like the art! In my patch and further updates (potentially a full release) I will definitely be adding more variety and making it so you have to use each one uniquely. If you are interested, stay tuned for future updates :D

Thank you for your kind words :D

Yeah all of this and more is coming in the patch that is coming up, and most definitely in the full version, so make sure you stay posted on updates if you're interested :) edit: btw the reason why it’s not in rotation is bcz you could die to spikes while changing or smth, but there’s prolly a way something similar might improve it, yes :D

Thanks for streaming the game! One of my main goals in my patch will be to give each blobbert purpose. I hope you still liked the art and still had fun! Good luck!

I probably said this to a few other people, but all bugs will be swatted in the patch so that’s good if you wanna ever play again. In 48 hours I tried my best to fix bugs :D I’d rather have a better game with a couple bugs then a worse/smaller game with no bugs/less bugs. But thanks for the feedback and good luck!

I am tweaking the physics and collision in the patch so you should be able to experience the game fully :D Good luck!

for sure bug fixing is number one in my list. Hope you still had fun despite a couple bugs!

Lerping, thats what i was thinking when I was polishing today! Thanks for bringing it to mind! Walljumping wasn't really intentional at first, but I wanted to add it in the end, just couldnt figure out how to fix. It will definitely be fully functional in the final release! Coyote time seems like a really good quality of life improvement too! SO much good feedback to be unpacked here, i'm glad you commented :D I like aerodynamic too especially because it kinda gives me bullet bill vibes. Good luck to you, my fellow west aussie!

What a fun little game! Loved the superliminal vibes, 5/5 for creativity. Style also kinda reminds me of portal in a vague way! Not much negatives to be said here, just that it could very well be improved upon in some ways, but i totally understand time crunch! Great game and good luck from a fellow west aussie :D

Awesome interpretation of the theme! I absolutely LOVED the art style and music, couldn't get enough of it, literally the stuff I aspire to make :D It was a bit frustrating trying to get everything to fit, and figuring out the sizes, but once those improvements are made, the gameplay would be much better. 5/5 for style and creativity! Sadly didn't score as well on gameplay but feedback encourages improvement :D

Thank you! I had fun making the abilities so im glad you liked it! Good luck :D

Ooh I like it! Fast paced factory game, nice genre mix, very creative! Had to deal with burning up conveyors while frantically scaling my systems, very fun! 5 for creativity! What could be added is an easier placing system. Although somewhat adding to the franticness of the game, which is fun, it is also kinda annoying when something doesn't place the right way and you lose points and get burned down. Maybe it's just me but I think the rotation system could be improved :D Overall cool little game tho, I'd give it a 13/15.

Thanks! Good luck to you too!

Haha 😅 I did not know that than you for bringing that to my attention! I hope this only made the game more fun for you lmao! But seriously I will try to fix bugs such as these when I work on some polish :D

Thank you for your kind words! I had fun making each little guy and customising them and so far people have enjoyed them! Good luck to you!

Thanks for the feedback. With every jam game, there is a bit of jank, but yeah the movement def needs a lil improvement:D

Thank you so much for your kind rating! Yes I loved making the little blobbert forms and their abilities and I'm glad that many people, especially you, enjoyed them :D

People have been saying its 15/15 and that's true for me. I can't leave a detailed review right now , but I'm sureyou have many good reviews and I will try to leave one tommorrow :D

Just fixed the ground thing, will tweak the jump, but I might have trouble trying to make the jump feel gravitationally bound while still making the jump high enough :D

I really like how the softbody work, like getting yourself stuck in places so you don't get killed was awesome! Awesome theme interpretation too, loved the way you didn't just scale the character up, but made it interactive and squishy, launching you as well.

Thanks! Yeah I agree, just needs some polish and it's gonna be pretty awesome :)

Thank you for your rating! Yes I agree movement needs a bit of work, but hopefully it'll all be fixed in the polished version! :)

Nice little tetris type game (arguably better than tetris) LOVED the artstyle and had lots of fun (especially with those juicy juicy cucumber combos)

A few bugs that have mostly been shown below like useless tomatos were prominent, but other than that its a fun lil game(I just read teh scale nots, I really like the theme interpretation too, probably the inspiration for those juciy cucmber chains, eh )

Great game! At first I had trouble understanding, but that's what puzzle games are all about! After a bit I quickly figured out the puzzles and had fun solving them. Love the retro theme too! Only problem I'd have, (and a nitpick at most), is the scaling the runes feels a bit hard to control. Maybe its because i'm used to other entries using keys, idk. It didn't affect my opinion too much. Nice job, and good luck!

Thank you ! Yeah I did this over the weekend in roughly ~20 hours dev time, and that was exactly the feeling I wanted to create with my limited time. I found myself playtesting quite a bit to make interesting solutions. Glad you enjoyed and good luck!

omg this is the best game in the jam this is gonna be on marks video 100% please win im begging you to lmao perfect 15/15 awesome art, awesome mechanics, and so fun and addictive im not a platformer person but im buying this

Yes I do definitely have to work on movement. I am revamping this weekend so lets hope it can come out better in a couple months :)

Yes this was a solo project made by a teenager. I am probably in the 'special' type kid if ykyk so I tend to fixate really well on goals. So I think i pulled it off pretty well for who I am and my resources. Thank you for your review!

Decent little game, probably could have been executed a little better though. I found myself glitching into the ground at times (Maybe kill the player if they are too big for a space) . I also think you could have made the boxes have a minimum size instead of an exact one as it felt kinda tedious to move them. Overall, solid concept, could have been executed better :)

damn they added a whole component for this type of thing?! Thank you for informing me about this cool feature! Will be sure to take this into consideration when polishing the game!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree some bits were a bit janky and this feedback will definitely help me in my hopefully full release of the game :)

thanks :)

Thank you very much for your comment! I made sure to have some sort of objective and I figured having a juicy little thing to smash would be nice. I like juicy features in games and I’m glad others enjoyed it too! :)

Thank you! Yes I took pride in making the little ‘blobberts’ and making the levels as I wanted it to be a decent little experience :)

Thank you for the feedback! May I ask what specifically was annoying about movement so I can improve?

you're welcome, good luck!
