Yes, it was intentionally designed to be a little bit more on the difficult side with 1 life :) but I agree, the balancing could definitely use some work! More items would be fun, too.

A quick little tip for the first level: Try moving things around :D

Thank you for your feedback!

I agree entirely with this review. My experience was very similar. Excellent game!

Impressive graphics! Interestingly, I found myself appreciating the experience without the need for music. To enhance the atmosphere, the inclusion of soft wind effects and additional implementation of varying sound effects could further elevate the overall sensory experience. Excellent work!

104! That was fun

I played this game a few days ago and the concept of typing to play the game was spectacular. But, I was a bit let down because typing the same thing over and over didn't seem to lead anywhere. Maybe I missed something. I think the concept has great potential for something like a typing practice/educational game with longer sentences and more interactive elements. The art and music in the game are awesome, but the game seems to be missing an objective. I noticed there's no penalty if you don't type or just stop playing. I'm still very thankful for the work that went into it and think the concept has a lot of promise if more is added to it. Well done!

Great work! I like the particles effect when an enemy is defeated. I agree that improved snowball readiness indication would be helpful too. Perhaps a sound effect for when new lives spawn could further enhance the experience. Simple and fun!

Great concept! However, in its current state, the pace and movement of both the player and enemies seem too fast, creating a stark contrast between tranquility and intensity. Slowing things down considerably would make it much more fitting. Keep up the great work!

The overall atmosphere was really relaxing, and the music and artwork was excellent. I would love for the ability to personalize my space with items from a shop. Well done!

Amazing! The music really set a fun tone for the experience.

Regarding the gravity and jumping mechanics, it's interesting that it felt like I was on the moon or something lol. That could be an intentional feature if we're indeed on another planet. However, if the aim is to create a more realistic, Earth-like jump, tweaking the gravity settings would definitely help achieve that.

The spooky snowmen are great! Making the enemies move faster could help increase the game's intensity and challenge. Additionally, adding sound effects as feedback in regard to snowballs can enhance the player's experience and immersion.

Overall, fantastic job!

Great start on the project! Your work is quite promising, and I'm excited about its potential. I have a few thoughts that might help refine the experience further. Firstly, the movement controls seem a bit unbalanced. It would be more comfortable if WASD keys were used for navigation, as the current setup with slow movement via arrow keys contrasts with the ultra-fast mouse movement. Also, there's an issue with the door on the right in the starting area that seems to break the game, which might need some attention.

Regarding the game's pace and exploration, the character dialogue is incredibly charming and adds a lot to the experience. However, I felt the brief storyline progressed too quickly, teleporting me from one place to another without much chance to explore on my own. There were moments where I was forced into rooms and would have preferred the option to exit and return later. This aspect could be tweaked to allow players more freedom to explore at their own pace.

Finally, the game's atmosphere and immersion are impressive and definitely a strong point. If you decide to expand this into a full-fledged RPG, I believe it has the potential to be truly amazing. The foundation you've laid here is solid, and with some adjustments, it could evolve into something exceptional. Well done on what you've achieved so far!

We've improved the game description to more clearly explain the mechanics. Our game is a simple turn-based combat with a shop to buy ingredients and bake desserts.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the audio! They are classic Roland sounds. Moving forward, I look forward to achieving a more balanced mix of SFX and music volumes.

Thank you for providing your feedback in return!

I believe this concept has great potential for expansion. Adding more elements of balance, variance, and new features could further solidify its foundation. Also, increasing the vertical scrolling speed might enhance the gameplay experience. Overall, a solid experience!

Loved this game! It's simple, addictive, and super fun. I was so hooked that I couldn't stop playing until I beat it. What's really interesting is how it's designed, where I found the middle part being the most challenging. Adds a great twist to the gameplay!

This game's black-and-white 3D look is super cool. The art style really stands out as my favorite part – it's unique and very well executed. At first, the mechanics seemed a bit complex, but once I got the hang of it, it turned into a fun challenge. I enjoyed the strategizing element of swapping around inventory items. As a casual gamer, this game feels more suited for advanced players who enjoy these types of challenges.

I found that the rotating camera movements on a big screen were a bit disorienting, though. I think a possible improvement would be a reduction of the amplitude of those parameters. But I love the 3D aspect and how the camera does not remain at a fixed angle – it's a big part of the game's charm.

Overall, it's really impressive, especially considering it was made in just a week. A few adjustments, and you've got something truly amazing. Great work!
