As mentioned by others, I do appreciate the ability to walk over areas and clear them as it also helps to clear up any mistakes! One small suggestion below, but nice work! (I also really like how the spray-paint effect turned out btw)

One recommendation for a possible improvement is to give a tiny bit of leniency in amount covered vs uncovered. So instead of something like 100% coverage, maybe 95% required? and if you still want to encourage the 100% you could start a small countdown at that point for someone to try and sneak in the last 5% -- Players who planned ahead would have an easy time finishing up, others might undo their progress unintentionally while trying to search for those remaining patches!

If they DID stoop that low, were they truly friends to begin with??  =P

Thank you so much for playing and your feedback -- it could be a very interesting followup project to make this local multiplayer :D

Thank you for playing, and your feedback -- also very glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

(We did want to include a tutorial level, and maybe we can still add one after the Jam to help roll out the mechanics!)

really tricky but very fun  =]  I really like the way you did the intro story & the sentry/drones

(just so you know, it did seem to crash on my PC before it would load to a checkpoint / after death, but still had me coming back for multiple tries! )

10 fresh fish. Meow friend, Meow.

very fun and challenging game =] really liked when the wands came in too -- kept me on my toes as soon as I started to get more familiar / savvy!

Watching the arms extend is very satisfying~ and I imagine it would very much confuse a neighbor dog trying to come to bully the cats!

PewPew!

I might also recommend something like a confirmation or a separate button than R for the reset -- especially with the shooting, I found myself hitting "R" for reload and resetting >____<

Very lovely artstyle and sound - (do +1 to the screen shake slider perhaps tough) -- nice work :)

love the adorable Sous Chef! I wish I could give him head-pats while he's helping and I'm stuck just waiting though

very cute game, nice work folks! :)

A few thoughts as I was playing: I think being able to sprint as much as you want feels a bit overpowered, so perhaps a drawback (besides perhaps stamina bar approach) could be something like.... sometimes if you sprint too far away, the kittens will start losing you / wandering off? or maybe the "old hag" puts out small bowls of food to try and lure those stragglers and make it easier for her to catch them! :O

Had a nice giggle right out the gate with this little furball! :) as a sort of possible future feature, I can imagine a "drop to ground/nosedive" to help re-align your upcoming jumps (even if it had a longer cooldown mechanic). Couldn't get past the small slime floor but had a nice time trying to get past -- nice work! :)

Very fun take on the genre, the timed aspect of each round did make it quite a different experience =]

I do wish for some speed controls on it perhaps, even if it means speeding up the enemy a bit too! it could be helpful to see when the enemy is going to attack as well, though it did lead to some fun risk-reward gameplay with choosing cards.

Nice job! :)

Thanks for the feedback! :) updated the gameplay loop to be more constrained now to get to the more interesting parts, but definitely would love to see more features given more time

Thank you for the feedback!

Loop now has a timer so the round can only last a max duration (but you can still lose if they claim all your tiles!), and get to the later stages easier :)

I believe you can send them directly to the page for the game (rather than the ranking) for them to play, but maybe the game is not set to public?

absolutely love the art! Found myself wanting to play more levels than available, but one thing that I did feel a little spun by -- as far as I could tell, the perma-fly buff didnt seem to let me do anything different (was expecting maybe I could fly over gaps for instance?) It also made me wonder if maybe I could normally do a single gap and the flying let me do multiple (which also could not, as far as I could tell)

Great work, and I might just have to play a few more times -- even the upgrade icons are too cute ! :)

very cute game, and really relaxing with the music =]

really feel like it hit the mark on the limitation too -- was at the end door with a nice bit of loot waiting.... woke the dragon at the exit door, haha!

Nice work :)

Just for a slightly more reading-friendly version, here's the credits!
