The presentation is really cute, but it needs a lot more balancing to become fun

It's a great concept but it doesn't feel like you have much control over the outcome, if you keep working on it (which you totally should) I'd recommend making the timers shorter and giving more options so there's less downtime. The art and music are excellent, good job!
interesting feedback. Discarding the cards that are weak made it feel frantic vs having downtime (unless your cards are all strong).
I will keep that in mind, and I know I need to tweak a lot if I build this game out more. Thanks for the feedback!

Very fun take on the genre, the timed aspect of each round did make it quite a different experience =]
I do wish for some speed controls on it perhaps, even if it means speeding up the enemy a bit too! it could be helpful to see when the enemy is going to attack as well, though it did lead to some fun risk-reward gameplay with choosing cards.

I was hoping to include a Slay the Spire intention, but time ran out, and it ended up making a bit more... frantic. Will keep your feedback in mind when/if I tidy this up after the game jam :)

This was a super cool concept and I had a lot of fun playing this game!
I wish you could swap the card you're using by dragging a new one on top of it. Or like you could select what card to use by left clicking on it, and discard with right click or something?? Idk don't mind me rambling on hahahah.
Either way tho super cool game!! Played quite a few runs! :D I killed 6 enemies on my best one! 🍄

I was definitly noticing the need for a bit of qol improvements but couldn't get to them in time. Once the Jam is over, I will definitly implement some of those :D

The dog is tricky, definitly worth trying to save a grey knight or heavy hitters for the dog.
