I love the idea of a game template! Gameplay seems interesting, but I was having some camera rendering issues on opengl3 windows.

If anyone else was looking for the source code here is the GitHub:

Hi I really like you art, are you still looking for a team?

my discord is: bobojo#7904

have you found a team yet?

Hi,

I am joining the jam mainly to meet people and spend my next week on something. I have my hand in many programming fields and wanted to try and work together nice rouge-like game.  I like to program in C# but also know GD script.

You can see my previous games in my profile, most of those were built in game jams as well. I think that I we can put together a good team we can make some really cool mechanics and polish in our game.

If interested you can DM me at my discord: bobojo#7904
or reply in the chat forms here

are you still looking for team?

Interesting idea. Do the animals all act the same, or are their actions different per animal?

That is a good point. Fixed it to be a hold down, no more spammy space key :)

The game looks good! It runs nicely even on my potato, and particles feel nice. I think the biggest issue I was having was the camera reacting a bit too fast. I also spun out a lot but that's not really a bad thing. My best speed was 2:30

I like the background and the arts nice and polished. I wish the hit boxes were a little bigger but over all the game feels good. My high score was 214 :)

Nice game, I think the sword slash wrapping around the player  is cool and and the upgrade system was intuitive.

No Linux support can't play :(

Very true, I was considering doing that later. Right now it's only good to see he can ignore, or actively miss the ball if that's how you play.

thx! I really like how the levels swapped out, and the effects were cool

Is it possible to get a Linux version, wanted to try it out :(

Awesome, really liked the start up and end screen, only thing that was a bit annoying was how long it took to play again :)

great game, really love the level design and sfx. the sometimes the movement did feel a bit delayed almost, but other than that it was perfect :)

Awesome game! the cut scenes really knit the story together and the puzzles are fun. I think The only thing to be improved are the images overlaying on the moving game behind it, but it's hardly noticeable great job!

Thanks for the correction,  I fixed the button and added a play again. I can't believe those things slipped past me!

idk man is it not nice to be punching people

Very nicely designed game I like how the use of only one button keeps out some of the frustration of a typical puzzle game.

thx for checking the game out!

I actually did put a difficulty spike, by  (increasing the speed, zooming out, and slightly adding to the enemy speed)  it gets kinda tough around a score of 20. Still, the game does not quite feel challenging, I'll keep it in mind of the next game :)

A really good feel, but it confused me for a good min how more arrows = bad.

doing this without an engine is pretty impressive! It's always cool to see something in javascript

very impressive to do in one week! I like the way the menu moves alot and the gameplay feels pretty good too. what would you say was the hardest part of the projecct?

Thx for checking out and even finshing the Game! I was scared it'd be too though for anyone to get past when we could not beat it in one go.

Made it to 540 :) really fun core of a game and i liked how to camera would giggle when you shoot. A lot of games don't give feed back but it makes it a lot more fun to spam.

Wow, this game was good, it has such a simple mechanic and you really polished it to it full potential! The art and music was amazing, and the game felt like somthing I would pay for

you have a very soild idea and if you had manged to get more polish it would be a great game!

wow, our games are so simular :)

Very challenging, and fun, I wish it moved a bit slower tbh though because it was almost impossible to get past an obsticle without dieing on it first.

i just changed it to open on the website, can you still not see it?

Yeah, my team had trouble sharing their work, so it ended up with only half the project getting rushed to the deadline. Thx for checking it out and if you have any advice on a file sharing method, my ears are open!

It was fun and a big challenge but, the learning curb is rough, took me like 5 min to understand how the goal and orbs and the paths all work.

hi what's the game engine you are working with?

I really like it, I just wish the mirror timer was not so long. It makes you wait a second before every jump.

it an expression for ignore-able advice
