Love the music and game design. They match the gameplay well. I wish there were more red blobs as the game goes on to make it more challenging and that there was like a powerup whenever you get a green blob.
I liked the controls of the game and the musics was touching the game too. The green blobs were little scarce. Little more green blobs might have made it more fun.
Nice theme and camera work. The movement direction wasn't clear at first, but I got used to it quick.
A really simple but fun concept, well done.
The speed of the circle that spins around celly is just perfect to keep the player always engaged and that's why this game is so good: it's not too slow (in that case the game would be boring) and not too fast (in that case it would be too difficult). Also, the camera that zooms out when you pick up the food is a nice touch.
I really don't have any complain about this game, the only thing is I'd suggest you is to make more clear to the player that the circle that is spinning is the direction where celly goes if the player presses the button (maybe replace it with an " arrow-shaped" cell or something like that).
Limitation breeds creativity. That is so true.
I like the Camera movement, but I would recommend like an arrow pointing where the score is, to prevent the movement from feeling tedious, appart from that it was entertaining, I even started talking to the red cell.
How do you get away from that red blob?
It's a fun concept and the movement feels quite satisfying. The main thing I think it would need is some sort of difficulty spike (if there is one it isn't that obvious from what I can tell) as then it gives more impact to your score and makes it more fun. But managing to finish and have a playable game is great so well done!
thx for checking the game out!
I actually did put a difficulty spike, by (increasing the speed, zooming out, and slightly adding to the enemy speed) it gets kinda tough around a score of 20. Still, the game does not quite feel challenging, I'll keep it in mind of the next game :)
Ah okay, I did slightly notice something but maybe that just needs to be made a greater change. Well done anyways
