This is very fun! The mechanic around finding light sources to power your gun is a brilliant idea! I haven't played any game similar to this so it's very original to me.  The screen shaking was a little disorienting at times when many enemies would spawn, but it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the game. You did very well!

I really enjoyed this. I can see myself playing this a lot with more levels.

I like swapping weapons mechanic to kill light and dark creatures. It's a little difficult to dodge enemy attacks. Solid entry, good job!

I like the way you interpreted the theme with your entry. I found it interesting to swap between light and dark to see each platform. The jumping is a little difficult to handle but otherwise great game!

The animations are very fluid, and the gameplay is fun as well. Nice work!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The spikes get pretty difficult in some areas. I wanted them to poke out a little so players could see them before they pop out, but I didn't want to make the hitboxes too small.

Thank you, I appreciate that! Originally I wanted to change the tiles from dark to light as well, but I ran into some issues along the way. I'll try to get that working after the jam.

The shadow that sweeps across the screen based on how well the AI is doing is a nice touch. The pixel art an animations really very nice and fluid as well. It reminds me of an games on an arcade machine. I'm horrible at fighting games, so I appreciate the simplicity of the mechanics. Very good entry!
