Here's a screenshot of the tooltip in action:

I would be honored if you would consider The Wizard's Labyrinth:

Hey this is a really great asset pack. So good, in fact, that I used the skeleton for my project Caiden's Quest: https://brainjar.itch.io/caidens-quest.

I've included you in the credits and just wanted to say thank you for making these artworks available for the community.

Hey I just wanted to let you know that I used your Goblin for my game Caiden's Quest. https://brainjar.itch.io/caidens-quest

It was an excellent fit and the style was just what I was looking for. Thank you so much for making this little guy available. I only wish I could have done more with him as all the animations are quite good.

Thank you! It's much appreciated. There was a lot of blood,  sweat and tears put into this game. There has definitely been some discussion about putting Caiden's Quest on Steam, but there is no plan to as of yet. We are big fans of Itch and what they have built. We hope you understand.

Help Caiden unravel the mystery at Bumblestich. Why are the dead rising from their graves? You'll need to use magic--and your wits-- to defeat the powerful minions of darkness and save the humble villagers.

Caiden's Quest features hand-crafted levels and intense, skill-based gameplay. You'll need to discover all the hidden secrets in order to find Caiden's true power. Use Bubble magic to create a pathway across lava, or blast your enemies with the potent Radiant spell.

  • Over 100 handmade levels featuring puzzles, platforming, and secrets to discover.
  • Find new powers and magic spells in the maze-like tomb of the lich king. Caiden can learn powerful holy magic and gain acrobatic abilities.
  • Caiden's Quest is not for the faint of heart. Brutal boss fights will challenge even the most seasoned players.
  • Multiple endings!
  • An original, and eclectic soundtrack.

Controlling Caiden is easy. He can jump, shoot, swim, and climb.  Learn new magic to unleash his hidden talents!

If you're a total beginner to game dev I would recommend trying Unity because it has more resources available.  It's pretty easy to find scripts and examples of the sort of things you'll need for a horror game in the Unity Engine.

No, there isn't a second ending. I don't think you've missed anything. Thanks for playing.

I found someone to make a mac build. It's up if you want to grab it.

Hopefully I'll be able to do an osx version soon.

You've made me quite happy because this is just the sort of mood I was hoping to evoke.

Okay I've gone through and checked the eye doors and everything seems to be working. I'm not sure what happened, but I did put in some extra checks and I hope that solves it.

Thanks again for the feedback.

thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry to hear you ran into a bug with the eye doors. I'll have a look and see if I can fix it.

I uploaded a version without the timer.

I'll see what I can do.

nice work, i enjoyed your video. It gave me some laughs.

thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it. Tommy says it was worth it.

Awesome! Thanks for the in-depth play through. It was a big help to watch.

Thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed it.

Just released this adventure/puzzle game. It's about being stranded in space. You have to find a way to get your ship to start. Lately I've been wanting to play games with strong narratives, so I decided to make a short one myself.  Check it out: https://brainjar.itch.io/power-lost

That was a great play through to watch, and you found a typo I need to fix. Thanx for playing!

Really atmospheric story. I was delighted by the direction it took. Bravo!

That was insightful. Thank you for sharing.

"So, despite everything, when I’m alone with you, I like you just fine. I guess you’ve GROWN on me, ha ha!"

I laughed out loud at this, btw.

Thanks for playing! Really enjoyed your video. You provided some great feedback and I'll see if I can't fix that bug you found.

Haha, that's good to know!

Hey thanks. Unknown Planet was made in Godot.

really cool experience. I kept looking for meaning in everything and wondering how considered each element of the work was. It was definitely an engrossing vision. It reminded me in some ways of the giver, because of your use of grey and red. good job!

Yes! Thanks you for the feedback. What we've talked about is basically doing a sequel, so pretty much what you suggested with a new look and new gameplay mechanics, a new story. The style is closer to something like Final Fight. We're in contact with an illustrator and there has been some conceptual stuff drawn up, but its still in the early stages as I am trying to wrap up another project.

Thank you for the support!

Hey thanks for playing the game! That's a great video you made.  I appreciate what you had to say about the controls. I should have added some various controller layouts for the player to choose from.

I think you can right click the .exe and check allow execution. Thanks for playing!
