Hi, i recently started 3d modeling in zbrush and maya. I feel more comfortable every day. I really want to make a low-res horror game.

Which program should i use as a beginner?

What do you mean by "Low res"? PS1 style? Half-life 1 style?

Here is a good tutorial for PS1 style graphics using blender and Godot:

I would start with blender, and then use either Godot or Unity as an engine. You could roll your own engine (what I would do personally), it wouldn't have to be particularly complicated, at least graphics wise, but if this is your first experience making a game, then I wouldn't recommend this.

Big Thanks for that video, i definetly will check unity and godot out :D

If you're a total beginner to game dev I would recommend trying Unity because it has more resources available.  It's pretty easy to find scripts and examples of the sort of things you'll need for a horror game in the Unity Engine.

I recommend you to use unity. As mentioned above it's a very good game engine. It's easy to use and scripts are easy to make. U just have to understand what is going on and then you can make countless amount of scripts. Unity is good

Try checking it out

I recommend using Blender because Maya is insanely expensive in the long run
