Can you make an option to spawn less monsters or at least make spawns less frequent? It’s quite frantic for an isometric puzzle game. And not just frantic but like… constantly frantic.

Also… why would giving her oil when she’s a car kill her? That makes no sense.

Can you make a keyboard only mode? There is a lot of pointless clicking in this game and it activates my RSI.

Like just being able to hit <ENTER> to go past the dialog, or skip, or be able to type again would be great. Maybe a hot key of R to do the repeat button? And using arrow keys to select choices?

Also, maybe make the delay configurable so that we don’t have to constantly skip through the machine?

At some point the ‘A’ key quit working for me in the game, and I got stuck. Not sure if that’s intentional and I missed something, or if it’s a bug. The ‘A’ key clearly still works on my keyboard though. 🤷‍♂️

What is the license fo these? Can they be used commercially?

Why in the heck would you configure the defaults Q and W instead of Z and X? 😅

I like the visual style, and think it’s really fun. But the game is too short, and the controls are very wacky, and there’s no full screen support. Would love to see this improved a bit and turned into a full game.

I think you mean, “perilous quest”.

Treachery implies that he will come back and backstab me later. (Unless that’s exactly what you mean, and it’s a trick question to determine if I understand what words mean?)

Trying to use your sword in mid air half the time completely deletes any momentum you had. That is very poor control design. You should be able to jump and attack at the same time without issues.

I played through a couple of worlds, and eventually, it crashed on me right before the level at the end of a world. Just suddenly the exe wasn’t running anymore, and I was staring at my desktop. Not sure what happened.

Really fun though. Would love to see some more story, and maybe some power ups. I would probably still be playing in a few hours if it hadn’t Crashed to my desktop.

Sounds like you could manually pair everything down to 20ms delays (with duplicate frames), and run it at 50 FPS (i.e. 20ms between video updates).

In traditional animation, this is called “animating on twos”, or “animating on threes”, etc. (just depending on how many frames pass before the image changes to the next one in the sequence).

This is a neat technique, because it allows for the low action sequences to be less animated, and the high action sequences have more frames (maybe even going so far as to animating on ones).

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I have anxiety about discord rn. Haven’t logged in on a few months and I probably have 10,000 messages to read. 😅

I’ll see about logging in there soon to double post this request / bug report. In the meanwhile I wrote a pretty crude glovepie script to use the number pad to place blocks, and the number keys to select them. It’s not great and it breaks for boss fights because the grid moves slightly, but it’s a stop gap for now.

On 1.6.2f, there are two bugs I’ve run into:

  • If you beat the challenge, but your dice bag is full, the game will just hang and never move on. – You can’t even exit.

Game hangs after you beat the challenge if your bag is full

  • There is a bug where Pierce Die’s effect isn’t mirrored when combined with the mirror die. – It just does regular damage.

Other dies do have their effects mirrored properly, so I think it’s just a bug with pierce. /FYI

  • A request: it would be great if you could add controller support. – I really love this game and can’t wait for the steam release, but my hand injury makes it painful to play this game. – Would be great if we had Gamepad support. Just need to be able to move the cursor between squares and selectable objects, nothing fancy. I would adore that if you added it!

Cool game – I bought the Steam release; but you should know, “Enemies” only has one “n” in it. – It seems in a lot of places you have spelled it as “Ennemies”.

Yeah, the crown places get x2 for each honey you put on it (so 2x, 4x, 8x) – but for any spaces that don’t have a crown they get divided by two (so 1/2, 1/4th, 1/8th). – It makes it easy to stack up your health, shields or damage once you figure it out.

I agree. This took me a bit to figure out.

This game has legs. It feels like it could be a 9.99 Steam Game.

If you added gamepad support, I’d buy it for sure. – It’s a disability thing for me, I can’t use the keyboard/mouse for super long periods. – Not asking for anything special, just let us move a cursor between the squares on top and bottom, and use A to grab or something… I think Unity has a way to bind keyboard and gamepad to the same inputs so it would be easy to test and implement.

Would also be nice if we could see the properties of dice by hovering over them when they’re already on the board (right now it only shows their properties if they’re still in your hand).

Maybe add a couple of unlockable characters with slightly different starting hands/stats? – Or maybe a special ability? – Maybe a few more bosses or something…

  1. Hey, can you make it so that we can zoom in?

I’m on Windows 10, and right now, it seems like we can only zoom out (and we can zoom back to the default zoom), but we can’t zoom in, so the objects are very tiny, and I can’t see the details (this is the maximum zoom).

  1. Can you add an “overwrite” mode? – I just want to put new pixels over the top of the old ones without any blending – but there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to do that.

It keeps going berzerk, says it’s going to kill the next guy, but it never does.

The game looked really nice and the intro was super cool – but the gameplay struggled a bit – like the car was really swervy and mine eventually just got stuck and couldn’t move anymore. Also, getting to the destination doesn’t do anything, the timer just keeps counting down. – Is this unfinished?

When I try to extract it, I get: “Error in packed file AnomalousDemo.rar”.

Can you verify that the file matches what you uploaded? – And that the uploaded file extracts everything without errors? – as is, the “Content\Paks\HorrorEngine2-WindowsNoEditor.pak” file won’t extract for me.

FYI – the file I downloaded is exactly 1,731,960,059 bytes in size, and has a SHA256 file hash of “EBABE45E50ABAE9591D1D99FF9BDAB69A3B442FF6A1116146339F0261D0E0904”

What is “Kommunity”? – is there something behind this or attached to this? (Hopefully, it’s not political?) – is it just a fun name?

FYI your Unity Asset Store links (under “Featured Assets”) appear to be broken as of 6/8/21.

Hey Kenney, are you planning on making a Community page for this tool (like with forums and stuff – similar to asset forge) where we can share feature requests and bug reports?

Right now it seems to be impossible to put more than one color on the same tile (like if you do a cutout shape, you can’t keep the base color, it just puts a hole in your shape – and we can’t right click fill to erase a section, etc.)

Also it would be neat if we could define our own custom cutout shapes, and if we could mirror in X and Y at the same time (for super symmetrical objects, like health packs).
