Ahhh sorry for the late reply! Thank you so much for playing and thank you for your kind comment.

I'm so glad you liked the twist!

I loved the cel-shaded look, and I love seeing people make turn-based battles in Ren'py. I'd love to see you do more with this game/concept!

This is so good!
I love the point and click elements and the animations. The endings really threw me for a loop!

Great job!

Thank you so much for your kind comments, and thank you for playing!

Thank you so much for playing—I enjoyed your video!

Haha oh man
My RPGs were made in RPG Maker 2 for the PS2. They've sadly been lost to time. I have a copy of RPG Maker VX Ace, though. Maybe I'll give it a try sometime!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much for playing! For short story-based games like this, maybe a browser build is the way to go—I'll keep that in mind for future games.

Thank you so much for your kind comments and thorough playthrough! I really enjoyed it.

Maybe we'll make another horror game—I have a few ideas kicking around. I'll be sure to let you know about it if we do!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so glad you liked the high trust ending—we ended up working on it until the last day. Thanks for the feedback, too. I'll have to go through the game again and see what you're talking about.

"I wish there was a bit more I could ~eat~."
It's soup all the way down haha

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for your kind and thorough comment.

More than folklore, I watched Thermae Romae a few years ago, and the premise kind of stuck with me, so that might have subconsciously inspired the feel of things to a certain extent.

I was going for an Oedipal kind of thing with the bath scene. Plus hair in soup is gross, and hair in general is just kind of scary for me (thanks, Ju-On).
The statue was just a tanuki statue haha

I'm so glad you enjoyed our game. You and the rest of your team made my day.

I made most of the music on a lapsteel guitar I made out of a 2x4. It makes me happy that you said it'd stick with you.

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you found Mr. Tokuri interesting!

You're scared of soup now, and I'm scared of pasta—I think that's a fair trade haha

I had a great time with this game. The character designs are top notch, and I was so invested in what happens to Ritsu. The centipede imagery was disgusting, and I'm going to feel really weird about eating pasta for a while.

I don't know if the story will be more straightforward in future updates, but I love how understated the ending with Kazuya and the ring is. I also love that you included "Put Out My Eyes." It's such a striking poem, and it fits the game so well.

Consider me a fan! I look forward to following this project and seeing what happens with the story!

The animations, the character designs, and the watercolor backgrounds are all fantastic!

What an experience! I've been following the game progress on the Light.vn Discord, so it was a treat to see the finished product. I loved the art and the UI. All of the characters were so likeable, the dialogue was so believable, and the framing of the story as hearsay was a nice touch. I got all five available endings—love that the title screen changes!

Great job!

I'll tell Aidan you liked the visuals!
It was a challenge figuring out the right amount of subtlety to go with, so I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you for playing!

I got chills playing through this! The art and animations were excellent, and the music fit the atmosphere like a glove!

Thank you so much for playing through Baths!

I watched your video—I love the voice you did for Mr. Tokuri!

I did not expect The Big Comfy Couch going into this lol

The story is chaos (in a good way), and the visuals are disgusting (also in a good way).

Great job!

Thank you so much for getting all of the endings! That means a lot!

Regarding your questions, I don't want to give too much away here. Maybe we'll post a devlog once the jam is over.

Great job!

Excellent use of Steamboat Willie, and I loved the silhouettes.

You also get bonus points for the Ouya lol

I thought that this was an important story worth telling.

Good job, and thank you so much for sharing!

Love the art and the music, The cover image is so striking. Is it a reference to Saturn Devouring His Son?

Hi! I really hate to be that guy, but is there any way to get this working with Intel HD 3000 graphics?
