i had a ton of fun, i spent hours upon hours spamming galaga as a kid and playing something that scratched that same itch made me happy. the leaderboard was a very cool touch too. the execution on the theme maybe didn't land for me, but personally i had too much fun to care about it. insanely addicting, great job :s

challenging game with a lot of fun mechanics and a surprising amount of levels. i had a great time. a little difficult getting used to the controls, but in the end the key assignments felt pleasing; it kind of felt like placing your hands into gamepad stance. the stock death sound was so funny, great choice lmao
enjoyed the aesthetic of it, the level art took me back to fun memories of clearing team rocket labs. the size of the game was very impressive. i enjoyed the feeling of being in a big labyrinth, but i could see it being a drawback too. what was fun and exciting and really hooked me in the beginning, became a bit samey by the middle of level 3. was nice to see a boss fight after it. thematically i like the inverter mechanic, but i agree with another commenter that it heavily incentivized me to just suck up all the enemies. a feature that forces the player to choose wisely between shooting and inhaling could be nice
cat game!! but cat dies :'( music and art were amazing, added to the liveliness and the urgency of the game very well. the scene transition sound was very yummy. i liked that hovering over a cat made this yellow outline as if you are shining a flashlight on them doing detective work. the thematic idea was very clever and executed upon quite well. however, i could see the goal of memorizing the crime scene inside out becoming tiresome if larger and more complex levels are introduced. overall very fun time
fellow cat game maker B) ....... this was fun. good difficulty level for having a fun, relaxed time, and personally i felt all the surrounding pieces (art, concept, objective, sounds, etc.) helped solidify that experience. side note, i spent probably 5-10 minutes just running back and forth because i loved the running animation so much :s
crazy this was made in a week or so of work, the flow of events and interactions is really polished. really like the 3D animations and the opponent's character model in particular. i liked the idea of learning your units inside and out directly through gameplay, but i could see that being too difficult as well, especially as you expand upon the concept and make more units. don't know if this is a real issue or not, but there was one opening turn where i couldn't play a card due to energy constraints and that felt weird
