Such a good game! It was a very polished experience, and really reminded me of playing pokemon when I was younger. The artwork and sounds are very authentic and the color palette was also very pleasing to look at. The only thing I didn't quite like was the movement, but that doesn't really matter, because the nice environment and feedback loop totally make up for it. Nice job!

Thank you so much for your feedback! it's basically the distinction between cyborg ships and alien ships that determine what you can do. Once you collide with an alien ship, you get the option to place one tower on your ship, if you collide with an alien ship and have no space left for a tower, you lose. Once you collide with a cyborg ship, you can't place another tower, but the towers you already placed will fight against 1 - 2 enemies, just like in plants vs zombies. And as to playing criss crossed - you can change the keybindings in the settings if you wanted :) (I tested / played it on a german QWERTZ keyboard). Sadly I didn't have enough time to implement changing the scale of the window :(.
Anyways, thanks again for the feedback, I really hope you liked it!
I really like this game, because
- it reminds me of the undyne fight in undertale ;)
- I like how you bring WASD a the arrow keys together
- it creates a really good athmosphere and I could play it for 20 minutes straight
The thing is, it is a bit too hard. You could make the canvas bigger, or the people slower or something, but that's it actually.
Cool game!
