Gameplay was a bit simple and rough, would of liked something more like a directed sprayer rather than an aoe one. But I liked collecting oxygen, made the game feel tense. If there were some sentient enemies walking around, this could be quite a nice concept.
Enjoyed it. Goodluck with the jam
Nice job! Loved the artwork and the gameplay was very unique. Just exploring the levels was really fun. I wasn't 100% sure what I was supposed to be doing but maybe I needed to pay more attention to the dialogue in the beginning haha
Great concept!
This is a solid entry, really fun to play. You should be proud!
My only feedback is regarding the controls. Sometimes when pressing two keys the character stops its movement. Other than that, really good game.
Thanks so much for your feedback! I'll take a look into that character issue!
Fun game with beautiful art, I really liked the sound design. One thing, when you enter a new area sometimes you could walk into spores but you cant see them from the previous area.
Good game! I enjoyed the music & sfx. I also found it fun to pump the gun up & clean the infestation from each area.
This is an interesting concept! Good job! The music and aesthetic really made it feel post-apocalyptic in a GB sense :)
I'm glad! Thanks for the feedback!
I enjoyed this one! It's a pretty easy game to work through, and though there were a couple unavoidable hits via screen transitions, I thought it was a clever way to make a game with no moving enemies. Though, maybe the spores spreading over time might help to convey more urgency?
Dig the music, and it looks great. Well done!
Thanks so much for the feedback! I will upload a version without the spores in the doorways, and polish up the multiplication system so they continually grow!
How fun! The art and soundtrack nails the dour tone.
There's a nice risk-reward balance between losing health over time and losing health by being in clouds, especially given the medium distance between minor health refills. I liked deliberately rushing into clouds to get better coverage with the sprays.
Fantastic! Great work!
Happy to hear you enjoyed playing!
very cool demo, the music was sweet. screen transitions seem a little slow but the effect is still reminiscent of link's awakening. Also liked the idea of loading up ammo one at a time to use it- but that using it also hurts yourself. pretty cool
Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll try your game out as well :)
The act of pumping doesn't lower your health actually, but the oxygen goes down 1 every sec. I probably should've mentioned that somewhere In the dialogue
Aaaah that’s what it was. I was just pumping constantly hahaha.
Not a bad idea, I like that it’s random each time you play.
Can we keep the alien egg guy as a pet?
I would love to have him as a pet! Maybe I nthe future different planets could have different pets
Cool game!
The idea of the game is interesting but there are two things that i didn´t like, first that sometimes when entering a new area i received damage unfairly because i had no way of knowing that there was a source of damage in that part, and the second is that in the artistic section there are pixels that have different sizes.
I really liked the art at the beginning of the game and the character sprite looks very cute.
Nice game!
It was a bit weird to get hit by spores as soon as I transitioned to a new screen, keeping doorways clear would really help.
Good stuff, congrats!
Love the gameboy vibes, the pixel art is super nice too!
Thanks so much!
Love the look and feel of the game. I never found much reason to strategically pump my gun before using it since the obstacles were primarily stationary goop puddles, but fun nonetheless!
Thanks for the feedback!
Very nice Game, artistically very pleasing with a very nostalgic soundtrack
Thanks so much for the feedback! I can't wait to try your game as well!!
No problem, I hope you're able to, the two people I gave the link couldn't for some reason xd
