V Cuuuuuuute! Thought it was a allegory about life where people with bad luck but hard work can get ahead though. Turns out the game is just a linear story without any sort of twist (I love the remark about the linearity of games lol). And I love the characters!
Great game! I like how you let us preview the effects of our moves with that layout on the top left corner. And great art--it fits the minimalist theme very well.
Great pixel art! One thought: perhaps put the main character in the center of the screen? I mistook my enemy zombie for myself at first, and it was very confusing
Great job linking dice and mass and shooting! Enjoyed the game. The only confusing thing is that I imagined my dice would jump into the air because of the 3D arrow--it seems that the game lacks the 3rd dimension?
Sorry that happened to you :( For your information, in our game you only lose when you do not have a King (6) on your board! If there is no other bugs, you might have accidentally moved your king, and it transformed itself to another piece (e.g., bishop (3)) when it moved
