This game makes me really want to learn more about post-processing xD. Really nice mechanic with amazing graphics and bgm. Amazing puzzle/platforming game. Great job!

Thank you for the comment. I can't seem to recreate the bug that happens to you. I assume this is the very first level since you can't pass the barrier, can you tell me more about what you do? as for the green barrier you have to kill all enemies(including the one you possessed) and move to the next part as the spirit.
Thank you for the feedback! A lot of things were pointed out in your comment.
I probably need to make some pointers or guide on the background on what to do to prevent confusion because you're supposed to kill all of the bandits and the move to next area as the spirit, I put some hints on what to do on the game page but people probably didn't see it.
the art that I use for the Spirit/Ghost/Mind is a sprite for a projectile in shooter sidescroller/metroidvania because I got no luck finding anything else xD. and maybe I should change the color, though I don't find it hard to see it hence I didn't change the color.
Definitely need to tune the volume for the BGM and SFX.
The ghost control is something from the unity2D course on the snowboarder part. since I can't figure out another method to make a smooth movement/rotation using all 4 directional keys, so I'm using what I know and ends up just adding torque to either direction based on the left/right arrow. The ghost form is timed because I don't want the player to just fly all the way to the end or just fly off to the sky (though I add a collider to prevent it) but the lifetime definitely needs some tuning.
I'm not much of a story writer but I make a short narrative that I put on the game page.
Thanks again for trying out the game :)
Thank you for the feedback! I've been playing some Metroidvania games lately and the control with arrow keys feels comfortable for me. I suppose it's different for every person and could be avoided by making an option to change control keys, but that's the reason why I use arrow keys instead of WASD :)
Like any good unreal engine game, playing it in my potato of a pc makes the game run with low fps xD which made the platforming part kinda frustrating. But apart from that, the environment looks amazing, and the music fits each area. The puzzle is simple, it just takes time to explore the map. Overall a really great game.
Interesting game mechanics with deceiving NPC and invisible obstacles. Some people mention there's no indication of where to go and got stuck. But I feel like that's the point of the game, trial and error. Finding which path is correct because you can't really tell where to go and what things will kill you, but that's my take on this game anyway. A great game overall, might want to tone down that scream though :D
A really cool game. The music is nice and relaxing. It took me a while to understand what to do though XD because when you choose something the other 2 is the one that became real instead (which is my fault because I didn't read the instructions and just winging it) and I didn't realize god's request is what you need to turn real. There are a lot of mechanics in this game but I think the possibility hasn't been explored entirely. I still don't find any use for the jumping mechanics (maybe it's for the trap? but the trap itself is quite easy to avoid normally). The Blindness and No torch don't affect me that much (maybe because my screen brightness was quite high xD). Swiftness feels like a buff (which I don't know if it's intentional). The Compass feels kind of useless because it only points to the general direction of the exit and not the door that will lead to the exit, so many times I ends up running around anyway looking for the door that will lead to it (and sometimes I have to go all the way around) . The only thing that is killing me is pretty much the trap that spawns right on the front of a door and if no trap was spawned it feels quite underwhelming. The Exit indicator feels a little bit misleading because I'm preparing for some kind of monster to show up on the red dot indicator :).I'm quite interested in the map itself, was it randomly generated? I Managed To Finish the game in less than 40 sec because there are 2 (or 3 I kind of forget :D) Monolith around the spawn and the exit is also nearby. I Find a bug in the game where the exit and the monolith were put in the same room and the exit indicator doesn't show up because it was blocked by the monolith indicator. Anyway, it's a really good game and I enjoy it very much.
Voice acting could be improved XD but enjoyable nonetheless. I find a little bug when opening the door after picking up the phone. If I open the door while standing to the right of it, it will make me stuck behind the door. The scarecrow part makes me uncomfortable :). I just keep looking back to the scarecrow hoping it hasn't moved. Overall a really nice game.
Loved the graphics that you make, It looks really good. the gameplay itself is quite fun, an endless runner with a recurring boss and shooting mechanics. but there's a little bug on the jumping mechanics and the tutorial. when you spam jump, it will register the jump twice(or more) and make the player jump really high(and I abuse it to go further :D). and the second is the Tutorial, I can drag the Image that was used in the tutorial to the left/right but on the right/left of it is just black. I assume you want to make the player able to slide the image to look at the next part of the tutorial (or maybe not and it's just a bug) so I went back and forth between the menu and tutorial until I realize I have to click the circle :). Overall a really good game.
I'm not really good with jumpscare and that last scream just makes me jump a bit and freak out because there's no retry button as it keeps screaming at me :) . others have mentioned that the shadow appears too fast and I would agree, maybe make it appear faster as the player survives longer. Good game nevertheless.
