Neat idea! Reminded me a little of 90's isometric adventure games, like Little Big Adventure. Unsettling sounds! I totally wanted to help the pink soul who asked me every time, but I eventually learned to ignore it. :P It wasn't too long, either; I managed to find the key in the end and earn my freedom. Good work!
Cool, short little game. The sounds were quite unsettling, it set the mood right. I would've liked a way to sprint, because I died a lot of times at the fog (I didn't quite understand what to do there for a while) and walking all the way back every time got cumbersome after a while. But regardless, a great little game! Good job. :)
Thank you for the game. It was fun playing it. I was very happy when I did not have to go back and get the key again after I died there :-)
For some reason this game booted up SteamVR, but other than that I had no issues and it was pretty fun. I steered clear of the pink one, I'm sure she was trouble!
Hehehe, the pink girl is quite the bastard, isn't she :D. The animation in the main menu is really cute, the game reminded me a bit of "little big adventure".
Some thoughts:
- You can be killed by the moving shadows multiple times while you are listening to the death sound and your movement is disabled. Very minor thing.
- Sometimes I wasn't sure why I died. I didn't see an indication of danger, for example when you try to go for the key in a straight line instead of going around.
- When you finish the game you should take it back to the main menu instead of exiting. I actually wanted to see the animation in the main menu again, so I had to open it once more :D.
Fun game! Took some time to figure out the shadows were killing me. Ambience was great! I feel so betrayed by the NPC :).
I like the theme, and found it easy to pick up and figure out. Some feedback I would provide is offering the player better visual cues as to where traps are, and possibly faster player movement. Trial and error games can be fun, but if you're moving too slowly while repeating hte same task 2 or more times can become feeling like a chore fast.
Great submission! I do agree with the previous comment about too much of the screaming :) It took me a bit to pick up on it because I didn't notice the transparent blocks that were killing me, that is all my own fault and felt stupid afterwards. Over all great game!
Cool idea on messing around with the player. However, there could still some minor hints for those who pay attention to them to avoid certain death. I understand the level isn't big, but for somebody playing the game the first time, they will repeat a lot! Another option is to add some checkpoints.
Interesting game mechanics with deceiving NPC and invisible obstacles. Some people mention there's no indication of where to go and got stuck. But I feel like that's the point of the game, trial and error. Finding which path is correct because you can't really tell where to go and what things will kill you, but that's my take on this game anyway. A great game overall, might want to tone down that scream though :D
Nice little game. At some points it was hard to see what was killing me. would have been nice to have more levels but it was fun to play :D
