Thanks everyone for making my first game jam such a great experience! It was fun playing all the different kinds of games, and I appreciate all the nice comments you all left (both on mine and other's games).

For anyone who may have been interested in seeing a "completed" version of my game Greenies, you can now check it out here: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-166-earth/rate/2937388

Hope to see you again in a future jam :)

Thanks for playing! 🌱

Thank you!!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry you ran into issues. If you don't mind, could you let me know what browser you were using?

I enjoyed this eco-friendly game! Unfortunately there wasn't a second player around who could play it with me, but I found that if I move the yellow bag to the right I can manage alright on my own xD Would love to try again later with a friend!

I enjoyed this game! I thought it was a cool concept that you have to switch up the type of sustenance you go for.

Short and sweet! I wish I had more time to appreciate each new species. I was very excited when I discovered the squid and the carp!

This is such a cool game! I love the sharp visuals, the tight gameplay, and the blobby protagonist :)

I love the art and the cozy relaxing gameplay! I thought the different types of plants were beautiful and the robot is cute!

I thought this was really cute and I loved that you used the jam jar as the player!

PS - I accidentally fell through the floor into the sky on the moving platform level xD

Love the gameplay in this one! The controls were tricky at first, but once I got used to them they became addictive. I gave myself a jump scare when the porcelain frog cracked because my volume was high, and I wasn't able to figure out how to get the last shark level before the boat leaves xD  Overall it was fun and I enjoyed the humor!

This was a fun interactive novel! I love the idea of charging one's ship with space lightning :D

This is such a creative use of the limitation! I love the concept and the cute art :)

I've always wondered what it's like to go hunting for treasure with a metal detector, and this hit the spot! It's super satisfying when you're right on top of the treasure xD

Thanks for playing! I was worried parts of the game might not be very clear, so this is great feedback. Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback! Haha yes, the plant going past the screen was supposed to signal the end. I'm hoping the updated ending will feel more conclusive :) I'm glad you both enjoyed the game!

I had the same issue after my own play test XD I'm planning to add upgrades that can balance out the resource production. Thanks for your feedback and for playing!

Hi Jammers, thanks for checking out this submission! Although I didn't have a chance to add the final scene, the game "ends" after you help the sprout reach its full height. Please come back after the jam if you want to see the conclusion of the sprout's journey :)

(1 edit)

I like the space baby and the floating mechanic! My reflexes are slow so I struggled a bit, but after some retries I eventually returned safely. Yay! Love the sound effects XD
