Beautiful game, I liked the character changing randomly as you restarted :)

I really like this game. It would be cool if you could pick up and move boxes with a little more purpose in order to set yourself up better for future runs :)

Fun, I got both endings (Due to curiosity not skill issues, I swear :P).

The hit-boxes feel a little mean, If you clip by 1 pixel it’s the same penalty as just running through the box.

P.s. Is the “Whole world” who’s against her the name of the shipping company that obviously hasn’t done a good job securing their crates to the back of their van? :D

Fun to play, the randomization of the upcoming challenges was a nice touch

Loved the animations and the art style :)

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it and that it was balanced well enough that you didn’t need to resort to that!

Thanks! I’m really happy with it and actually looking at developing it further :)

Uhh, yes 😂

Overall though I love the aesthetic, I went with something very similar to your CRT effect. I think it adds so much!

I was thinking of having “auto buy Max” options for panels becoming unlockable when they are more or less pointless and when you unlock that you will be able to minimize the window.

I quite like how chaotic it can get, trying to handle so many windows :D

Wow, thanks for the detailed response! The ideas grew pretty dynamically due to the deadline and I wasn’t intending for the numbers to get as big as they ended up! I agree entirely that eith how the final balance ended up using ml was a bit nuts :D

My intention was to add a help menu to each panel explaining the calculations in more detail. I only added the ones you mentioned (the basic ones you mentioned) in the last 20 minutes!

Just so you know (probably too late) lubrication affects how much drag affects velocity (meaning the cooldown from spam clicking will be slower).

Anyway, thanks for playing and I hope to hear from you when I update this!

I agree, they get quite unclear when there are too many zeros. Glad you played it long enough to be able to complain about that to be honest! :)

That’s what I get for liberal use of copy and past whilst in a rush! Good spot I will fix it, not sure if I can upload a fix before the voting period ends on the game jam though unfortunately.

Pretty sure it’s 165hz, I was just finding the jumps fiddly because I wasn’t getting up to speed within the allowed distance :)

Fun to play a few races. I wish that you had to type a whole word for a step forwards and that you could see a few words in advance so you could get into a bit of a rhythm!

I ended up running directly into the stands at one point followed by falling into the void for eternity 10/10 :D

I love the art style and it’s really cute, I feel like you should automatically drop the sauce once it’s used to make it more obvious that you have to grab it again but other than that, fun and cosy experience :F

I am really bad at it, but fun none the less :)

Really fun, I love being able to mine out the blocks with the lasers to find things. My only complaint would be how controllable the character is, the acceleration speed is weirdly too slow to start and too fast when you get going and makes the platforming really fiddly

Fun game! I would love a preview of the area that will be affected when you click, it would make things a little easier to plan :)

Wow, thanks for playing and for the glowing review. I really loved the Vaporwave/windows 95 aesthetic and had a blast recreating it. As for the speed, you don’t want to see the code :P

Very cool little demo!

Fair enough, thanks for playing

Thanks for playing, I was really pressed for time and had to forgo an ending unfortunately! I also optimized the curve to be a quick play for the jam, I may make it a little longer in the future.

Did you work out you can move them?

I’ve seen there are a few “finish your prototype” style jams around. I may have to jump on one of those!

Thanks! I used PhaserJS. I’ve been coding in Javascript for a while and it seemed like the best option out there :)

Thanks, glad you liked it :)

I feel like I have a bit of a better grip on the concepts now and I’m hopeful for the next one being a little easier!

Very stress free! I love that description! I noticed that bug about 15 mins before submission :( That’s what happens when you have to offset the spawn point of the cards away from the player to fix a bug where the little guy collected them as he threw them.

Thanks! I put a lot of work into making the movement feel nice, I’m not a fan of floaty, loose feeling controls :)

I collected a pizza but it won't let me progress to the next level it goes in a loop :(

Wow your art and atmosphere is the best I've seen so far! Amazing work! Those little bouncy blobs are a nightmare to hit :P

Love the art style it's beautiful!

The idea was you'd collect keys to unlock a door to the next level. I really wish I'd got more done but learning Phaser in 7 days and building a working game was a bit of a high bar for myself! Thanks for playing (if you can call it that :D)

Fun, I'm just really bad at it! The controls are a little floaty for my taste but really cute art style :)

The art style is really cute. I wish the level was a little more condensed as to collect everything took a long time and that there was a minimum items collected to progress to the next level.

Better than my first game, that's for sure!

That took me a few attempts to beat, it's a shame that taking out a loan and going into debt with the bakery is an option! I was left with -16 coins and no way to pay my rent!

Nice game and I really liked the feel of the character controls :)

I really liked the intro sequence and thought I was going to be thrown into an 80's style side scroller beat 'em up. With the overworld and game cabinet idea it reminded me of Stardew valley and it's shooter minigame.

Best I got was 12/16 because I'm bad, but nice work!

Fun! 26 points and level 3. Not sure if there's an end screen but if there is I'm not good enough to see it! I really liked your introduction I just wish that you had marked the point you had to return to since it's always the same :)
