Ok thanks. Apparently the new bots just can't be one that uses a tool. (well w/o manually giving them tools) In other words, no way to set them up to fill their inventory w/wood get a tool--use until hands empty but also keep inventory full with wood. They are still nice and useful. I love the canoe makes finding new areas a lot smoother.

I have a bugged out steambot. He needs charged for some reason (not sure why as I set them up to retrieve a full inventory of wood). I can't charge him or trade with him to give him wood. I can't interact with him at all to see what's wrong with him. Oh, also I had to download the game manually (no update came through itch.io app.)
I had a similar problem when I was producing straw faster than the cows could eat it. They would eventually just stop eating although they were not full with milk. I had to move the cows to a different grass area to "fix" them. My solution for now was to just not allow them straw. I've also noticed if you have a fence around their area but a worked cereal field is in their "range" they will stop eating grass which makes it tricky to find the perfect area for the cows/cereal production areas.
First off, I'd like to say how much I'm enjoying this game so far. However, I feel the "end goal" is really boring. I hope there's some plan to expand on it later. Here's my thought: feeding the villagers reward some type of currency--the amount would be based off the difficulty of the food. (something like cow's milk isn't going to yield much) There would also be another building to build--a traderbot. The traderbot would sell blueprints for advanced autonauts (at a VERY high price to create some long term goals). These would take a lot of materials to actually build but could include things like an axebot (axe embedded in his hand that never broke), pickaxe bot, etc,. Maybe it could even include a strongbot who could carry more then the regular bot. These would also make it a lot nicer to have a nice tidy farm with the new "do until storage full option." At least I can find no good way for my axe cutter to use that command. It's just plain better to use a seperate bot to deliver them. An axebot would allow the user to set them up to chop a tree and deliver it to storage without the messy need to getting a new tool.
I have everything in the repeat box and I have clicked a storage. I thought maybe forever command was messing it up but it still won't work. So this is how I have my bot set up who collects logs and puts them in storage : repeat until storage is full (all commands are in the yellow area) Find nearest log, move to log, pick up log, move to general storage, and add to storage. I also tried having him pick up logs until hands were full and in separate repeat box until storage is full . Everything works just fine until it gets to the add to storage part, also using it the old way of just adding to storage works.
